How is everyone? I missed the whole day here

so did I!

Hi Kristin!

Beth! What's goin on? I'm having an election party of one since I'm a total lame azz. I just got all excited over Ohio going to Obama and only had the cat to share it with

I'm having a totally rockin' time - my son is sticking his feet in my face as a major hint for a foot massage

I guess he thinks that's his reward for having to watch the election results - LOL!

haha thats just plain cheeky!

Was the other way around in our house.... my mum was asking for them!

There she goes, back into NIBBS to talk about being single and looking for hot Tri guys with Kristin and Supercat, then discuss more important things like melon holders.

Whatever, we talk about other things too. Like chocolate and hot tri guys.... ooops. Ok, so it's mostly hot tri guys

Guys, my RR is in draft and it's loooooooong. I need to edit. No one will want to read it.

It's just that it was such a monumental achievement for me that I don't know what to leave out!

it was purrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect!

Totally! I was telling a tri guy friend of mine that guys on bikes are way deceiving. Have you ever noticed how hot they all look in their race photos when they're all bada$$ on the bike, but then you really see them and you're like - um what??? I've notice a lot of guys look all hot in their avatars here and are just regular, average guys in life. So funny.

I just finished a long and hideously painful stretching session. Since today blew, that combined with the walking I did will have to be it. I had big hopes for a trainer ride but I'm beat.

Tomorrow I swim and maybe jog a little for recovery. One point!

I use the description weird little guys - although a lot arent.

I have a bit of a crush for a cyclist here at work... and I havent seen him ON a bike yet... so I can only imagine how bad it will be if I do

So, I started my first thread and its in the michigan forum (I live in Indiana but just over the border) to find out what races the michigan folk really liked cuz thats prob where my first tri will be.  Nobody is responding 24 views but no posts.  I'm thinking it could be a couple different things

  1. I comited a cardinal sin by posting in their forum
  2. Michiganders don't like hoosiers
  3. They just don't like me
  4. I'm being impatient (go drink a pomagranite martini and check back later)
  5. Found several grammer/sp errors and they don't like that
  6. There are no good tri's in Michigan (find that one hard to believe)

What do you all think?

I'm from Michigan, I'll take a stab at this one:

  1. I comited a cardinal sin by posting in their forum I post in other state forums and usually get a decent response, except for those prickly 'sconsies
    ...

We just don't like dirty Michigan-ite-ers.

LazyMarathoner - 2008-11-04 11:51 AM Lunch time. I'm starving. I'm having sushi today. I'm hoping the anti-oxidant properties in the fish will help. I'm like a big water balloon.

I don't know to laugh or feel sorry.  I'm torn.

That's ok, go ahead and laugh at my physical discomfort and misery. I don't mind since I got it from running a sub-4 marathon!!!!

Translation - laugh at the comment you made, not at your demise.  I'm picturing you looking like an Oompa-Loompah, just not purplish, unless you were drinking some red wine.
