Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: RE: Super Cats Mentor Group - CLOSED crews - 2009-08-12 12:23 AM Enough about monsters. I think a moster stole my mojo. I quit working out a week or so ago. Don't know why...just did. Maybe I'll swim today and ride tomorrow evening and that'll get me back in the grove. The weight is staying off, I guess that's a good thing A week down time wont hurt anyone.... just ease back into what you feel then get your routine going again |

Master 1690 Metro NY Area | Subject: RE: Super Cats Mentor Group - CLOSED Yeah Cat! I spent the weekend at a the weekend home of some friends about a 2 hour drive north of my home. It was my first time there and I have dubbed it "My Triathlon Training Camp". Less than 100 yards from their back porch is a nice lake where I swam and canoed this weekend. The water temp seemed about 72 at the surface for about 12 inches but cooler below. This morning I went for a 2 hour bake ride in the rolling hills surrounded by farms and fields I only saw about 2 dozen cars in the entire 2 hours then I saw in the lake. Nice! kaqphin - 2009-08-16 7:09 PM [ I got a couple of rides this weekend and I had an absolute blast Edited by losta 2009-08-16 6:44 PM |

Master 1690 Metro NY Area | Subject: RE: Super Cats Mentor Group - CLOSED I'm keeping up my training though I am currently not on a plan. Challenges help, the 4 is more has me working hard I signed up for 20 hours of cycling, have 2 hours left for the month, I even went over on running and swimming. I still have an interval workout to do. I've got 2 sprints next month. I am seriously considering training for a Oly first part of summer (northern hemisphere) 2010 and HIM late summer. I figure it would be a good way to keep going strong through the winter. I'm looking for a September challenge, if there is nothing else I'll do peach. I hope your hand is better. What race are you doing? kaqphin - 2009-08-27 8:33 PM losta - 2009-08-28 10:27 AM Hi everybody! Just checking in. Everybody still tri-ing? Hiya - its been rally quiet in here.... Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: RE: Super Cats Mentor Group - CLOSED Sounds like you have some serious plans... Ive always wanted to do a HIM... but havent yet found the consistency to get there... juggling health and injuries while increasing training is not something Ive nailed yet... I think aiming for an Oly would be a great idea... see how you go, pick a race, sign up, train then look at how you feel and whether you want to stay with that distance or move up! There isnt a September challenge up yet... which leaves you with a couple of options... 1) Start one yourself and run a challenge or 2) Try and convince someone else to run one!!! I usually do a Halloween Run Challenge for October.. well I have run one the past two years... so I might take one more month off running on before taking it on.. but if anyone decides to get one up and running Im happy to help out! losta - 2009-08-28 10:47 AM I'm keeping up my training though I am currently not on a plan.
