Ghoulies I have a confession I have never had a Krispy Kreme donut I have on several occasions had people tell me they were going to take me to the store and get me a fresh warm donut It has never happened And I'm not losing sleep over it I'm not really a fan of donuts to begin with Unless they have chocolate and maybe some sprinkles on them That is all Living in the south I am supposed to like them. I prefer Dunkin Donuts if I have to have them Krulers and coffee. I'll trade sweet snacks for fried salty ones anytime. Fried and salty is my weakness! I'm not a fan of sugary, except maybe brownies. I had 2 cakes and 2 dozen cupcakes at my house on Sunday and never touched them. fried, not so much for me. salty for sure. i tend to oscillate between sweet and salty. that's why i think CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS ARE PURE GENIUS. stacieb Oh then I'll have to bring your our own homemade chocolate pretzel goodness when I come out! YOU MOST DEFINATELY NEED TO FOR SURE... i'll supply the wine. cuz what goes better w chocolate covered pretzels than wine???? WAIT. I'm doing a half mary next weekend and have been working on my training schedule. I've been tapering my run/bike to give my legs a break before the race. Should I also cut back on my swim workouts? I'm trying to reschedule the swims I missed last week and under normal conditions I could slip it in on my lunch next Friday but that would be the day before my race. Would that be OK since its not really a leg intensive workout or should I keep that day open? ME You going for a PR or are you just running it? I have never "tapered" before a race but I am not the smartest person out there! Paul I now have this vision in my head that Bill has a big bumper sticker that says "TAPERING IS FOR WEENIES!" ANNUENDO dont answer that!!!!! stacieb I just let out the LOUDEST laugh!!! People stare. I have my headphones in, I blame it on the radio or a podcast usually! i blame it on the fact that im CERTIFIABLY INSANE....and then tell people im a SHRINK by PROFESSION. thats always good for a LAUGH.....or a blank stare....whichever one comes first. stacieb I would bet that potential patients are ENCOURAGED by that!!! id like to think so. you seriously crack me up all the time ANN. mwah! stacieb |
