You know, I look at my animals and wonder, "How da heck can they be SO WEIRD???!!!!" (Of course, I know the answer to that).

I feel MUCH better when I look at all of you and wonder, "How is it that they're all so hot and awesome and enthusiastic and accomplished?"

Kate, your job sounds so physically demanding!  You handling snakes reminds me of my daughters favorite show, Billy The Exterminator.  She loves the episodes that involve big snakes, alligators, and roaches...yikes.  My daughter often talks about wanting to work with animals and also be a baker specializing in cakes and cookies, LOL.

Yanti, I have no doubt that you can finish IM Melbourne.  The swim is really just a warm up for you.  If you can ride 4 hours on a trainer, I think you can for sure finish the bike just fine.  The run?  Do your best.  Walk, run, jog, shuffle, dance, skip, sashea (sp?) to the finish!

How cool would it be to skip the entire marathon portion of an ironman? 

Maybe I am biased because, now I don't share this with just anyone, but I only learned to skip when I was in high school. I had to stay after in PE to effing learn. I kid you not.

ME TOO! Anyone who can successfully make a crepe, let alone a nutella crepe, is a GOD. 

I would love to be able to skip and entire marathon.  You can't help but smile when you skip.

This may be weird and wrong, but I'm really looking forward to every part of the Ironman. Even the extra runs, and by that I mean transitions.

Do you skip a lot now? Did you know how to skip rope at least?

Mmmm hmmm! Man, I have got to make up for lost time. I feel there was a lot of skipping I missed out on in my childhood. 

*Actually* I was a pole vaulter in HS so we had to skip all the damn time. Those reeeeaaalllyy dramatic over-exaggerated skips. Good thing I learned!

Ha! I can't type what I thought of first, at least not here. My G-rated answer is that I am terrible at basketball for starters...my spelling is also mediocre at best. 

I can't speak for your basketball skills, but your spelling is fine. I were an Engrish professor, I know! (My grammar and punctuation are flawless. Always. Especially in forums.)

Doesn't matter how you get to the presentation--which means your spelling is fine. Also, the forums don't have a grammar check, so clearly you do know how to spell, baseline, regardless: otherwise you'd bee spewing homophones left and write.

I would also like to add that my grammar is mediocre at best Engrish prof eh, man, I would have loved to be your TA! Was that at USC???

No racing for me this week.  "Long" ride this week per the Oly plan. 

There are three sentences and I am not a man, but they are otherwise fine.

Yes, that was at USC. I didn't have TAs, but I did instruct and supervise other instructors in my department. Some of them, perhaps not just in the subject at hand.

Yeah, that is sort of what I was getting at, woman.
