Trying to figure out if I want to head out early from work at get a run in at 100 degrees outside, or wait until tonight and maybe miss it due to family time.

Ugh. Run done. Sun was brutal. Actually wasn't bad when I could find a shade spot, but out in the direct sun not fun. Reminder to not sleep in next week and get the runs in early.

Yes. It'll hit 115 or so peak probably. Tough training as the low temps at 5am or so can still be in the high 80's or low 90's during the worst of summer.  As long as it's around 100 it's not bad as we have such low humidity. I still don't miss training in the midwest where it was 100 and 100% humidity.

Off to cheer my son for his last T-ball game of the season.  Then it's back home for dinner, some great ice cream (stocked up last night) and pool time relaxing.

I got back on my bike today and did 18 km. Legs are feeling better, but only because I spent about 2 hours working on all the sore spots. The ride was nice and I'm hoping that I can wake up Sunday morning feeling like my legs want to run.
