Veteran 211![]() ![]() Marine City, MI | Subject: RE: HILDEKQ'S Magnificently Motivational Mentor Group - CLOSED!!Hey gang, I'm back home now! It felt good to race on Sunday. My sister even hung out and watched me! (I'm totally used to being on my own). The event went pretty well, no bling but I knew it had a reputation about being pretty competitive. Unfortunatly I seem to have taken someone else's swim goggle with me when I grabbed my stuff. I have know idea who the they belong to, the transition area was a bit messy. They aren't anything special, but I still feel a bit bad. Any advice on what I should do? |

I'd adjust them to fit my head and use them as training aids. When you get into the pool just envision the actual owners of the goggles chacing u down with a chainsaw cuz u stole their stuff. Haha. That shud make u swim faster!!! |

I emailed the race management firm and told them I would be happy to mail the goggles if anyone reports them missing. I don't expect I'll ever hear from them, but at least I tried. (I took her bathing cap, too.) I really thought the cap and goggles were mine, but I guess I had already put mine in my bag. |

Yep, you're a weenie....or just feeling really guilty about lifting them on purpose!!! haha...goggles and swim caps are a scarce commodity - I'll guard mine with my life now. That was a very nice thing to do....... |

Do all your tattoos make you more aerodynamic? You've been busy at the tattoo parlor. Too much Gin maybe? |

My lumpectomy got rescheduled for tomorrow morning... :/ No swimming, weights, or running. They said I SHOULD be ok to bike, and that walking is ok. Bummed out that it's going to dent my training, but I guess better to get it over with now and put it behind me. |
