mind over matter - 2008-05-19 9:10 PM Hi everyone - I've been quiet lately...super busy with work as we head into our busy season and with every moment being spent training other than that...(well - it feels like it anyway!)... I've had a couple of great PB's in my runs this past month - did half's two weekends in a row bettering my previous time by 13 minutes on the first one and then another 7 on the second. Am still feeling ucomfortable with the bike...really don't like the cleats but somehow I have to get over it. I've been logging the miles on my trainer and mountain bike outside - not too sure if I will make the road bike break through by June 1 which is my first tri. Overall things are going well with training - I just ahve to see if I can keep up the time as we get busier. C

Kat,

Glad to hear everything is going so well.  Good job keeping up with the training even with the busier time in work.  I know it can be hard sometimes to maintain that good balance.  You should still try to log your workouts so that we can see how you are doing and be able to inspire you even if you don't have much time to play on BT yourself.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone who still comes onto BT.  I know we aren't using this group as much, but feel free to still ask questions.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Hope all is going well for everyone.  How is the racing season going for everyone?  I'm sorry I haven't been on much to inspire, but work has gotten busy over the summer.  Hope everyone is doing well and staying injury free.

Hi Jeff,

Looks like pretty much everybody has abandoned ship here, though I'd love to hear from Dana....Dana -- you there? I'm pretty quiet about things, but have really tried to stay consistent with logging my workouts with the intention of working out a bona-fide training plan to implement over winter 2008-2009 and into summer 2009. So hard to stay on top of the computer once the mileage starts getting up where it needs to be! Hope work is good for you -- we're slow here and it makes for some long, boring days. I'd rather be busy! Looks like you had a good race on Saturday -- congrats on the PR!
