So what does everyone have planned for this wonderful weekend.  It supposed to be nice and sunny out here on the west coast ...  I'm got a 2.5 hour bike and 1 hour swim today and then my first race tommorow (700m,20k,5k).

Cheers

Good luck in your race tomorrow James! Sunny and +22 celsius late yesterday afternoon and 0 celsius this morning with snow flurries.... Putting off the bike ride I had planned for today and going to go for a 1 hour run instead. Hopefully it is nicer tomorrow and I can fit in a ride at some time.

Thanks for the encouraging words the other day everyone. The race went really well except for the flat I got on the bike . Oh well, it was fun anyways, and I beat my goal by a lot .

I didn't log some of my workouts this weekend until late yesterday so I don't think that those showed up on the spreadsheet. I'm really close to complete on the bike but I'm a ways off on the swim and run. Unfortunatly my work just kicked up a gear and it looks like I'm coming in early and leaving late every day this week. I'll see what I can get done, but it looks almost certain that I'm not going to make the run and swim goals. I just thought that I would brace you all now. Anyways I hope that everyone else will help and pick up the slack so that my crappy finish percents are brought up by you wonderful people.

Leason learned, budget life getting in the way of training next time I setmonthly goals.

Cheers

James

Spreadsheet updated (correction to Denise2003 - biking goal).

I'll have to save the html document at work. At home when I save it it jumps to 101 kb (over the 100 kb limit for attachments).

I have been looking at the spreadsheet and have noticed that Languid Scribe is way far behind... so I think we should all give her some "Inspire Me" and get her going... I am seriously hoping that she just hasn't entered her workouts... as for James not finishing, was it not stated on the rules that injuries were valid reasons for not finishing and thus the injuired party's times can be adjusted accordingly!?!?!?!?

Re Languid Scribe - I checked her stats and she hasn't logged on since the 11th. Hopefully she is okay and we will see her back on this site sometime in the future. I noticed one other team had a "phamtom" participant as well so possibly we can have some ruling whereby individuals who post no log entries for the last 2 weeks of the month can be removed from the stats.

My Stats
Swim: 86 % complete. Will meet my goal on Friday.
Bike: 100%+ complete.
Run: 91% complete. Will meet my goal this weekend.

Well, I tried to make-up some of my missing bike time last night.
I blew a rear tire after 45 minutes.
When I got home, I inspected the tire and rim, replaced the tube, inflate and BANG!!
It blew again.

So making up the bike didn't really happen.

Swim should be complete on Wed or Thursday.
Run won't be finished until Sunday.
Bike I am trying. First I need a rear tire that holds air!

- April Multisport challenge.
414min Swim (300 complete, 72.5%)
956min Bike (615 complete, 64%)
478min Run (356 complete, 74.5%)

Did a long *** ride today, but I have a huge blister on my foot from my run last night.... will definitly finish my bike and swim, but dunno about the run, however if I am not mistaken, on the Feb run challenge we were allowed to do the eliptical correct, thus worse case scenario I will jump on that and do my last 90 or so min of running....

I have already beaten all of my times from last month... way to go!!

Thanks for the motivation from all of you!

Well, After close inspection of my rear wheel, it was bent pretty bad from the last 2 blow-outs.
So I replaced it. (Cheap steel wheel anyways)

Hopefully this solves the blowout problem.

Good job so far this month everyone.
Let's finish this!! Go Canucks!!

Well, I finished my swim goal last night with 65 minutes of straight freestyle (no breaks),
and a 5 minute cooldown swim.

I did some biking last night too, and now only have 3 hours left to complete.
I DIDN'T HAVE ANY FLAT TIRES!! Hopefully I have solved that problem.
