LJR - 2008-03-12 11:44 AM Not as much time on the bike this week for me (I have a 12k race on Saturday), but should hit the 3 hour mark by week's end. Next week I'll pick it back up with bike commuting. Happy training!

Where's the bug?  I miss it.  Makes me laugh!

Ahhh, I was gonna add a different pic, but it wasn't good enough. Gotta wait until I get home to reload "Mr. Roach".

Hi guys! Just a note on the spreadsheet. The weekly columns are cummulative miles/minutes/hours. If you just put in the numbers for each week, the spreadsheet will not add them all together...at least I'm not seeing it in the formulas.

Each weekly column looks like it still needs to be TOTAL miles/minutes/hours to that point.

Dee/Cat, slap me if I'm wrong on this...

Nope, not Dee. This month, the challenge is being run by our lovely Super Cat.

All I had to do was upload Cat's spreadsheets into Google, and set the options so that people could update it.

And I'd already created a spreadsheet for the Peepsqueeks, so my team is using a different version. I haven't looked at the one the other teams have. (Well, I do know it's not as colorful as mine. LOL)

That said, it would be easy to change it so you could just put in your cumulative totals. (Rather than just your weekly ones....) Hm... Cat!!! Are you here?

Yes cumulative is correct... the reason the weeks are separated are for the weekly updates so you can continue to update with the end of week totals remaining unchanged...

Hope this helps!

I am behind. I was sick this week. If I cannot catch up, I will lower my goal toward the end of the month.

I hope everyone is well.

Good things come in 3's??

1) I got my new cyclocross bike on Thursday and was able to get it assembled and on the trainer that same night.

2) My hip injury is finally feeling like it has improved substantially which should allow me make more use of #1

3) I was offered and accepted a new job yesterday and will be getting paid more than 25% over what I am making now.  As an added bonus, it's in the foothills just west of Denver with great access to bike trails.

Hope you all are having great rides out there this weekend!

3) Congrats!!!  Jealous...have always wanted to live in Denver...not a lot of food industry there though

Went on an hour bike ride with the family, fairly slow pace...I think I'll count half the time for the challenge

I'm free!!!  Finally allowed off crutches after 9 weeks (this time, 17 total weeks since my stress fx diagnosis).  Granted I can only stand/walk for 5-10 minutes at a time to start, but it's definitely an improvement.

Even better though - I can ride my bike outside!! (It's been ~6 mos since I was allowed to do this).  Hopefully the weather will be cooperative this weekend...

Edit: Just upped my goal for the month to 300 minutes.

I am officially going to have to lower my goal

Being sick and everyday life with two kiddos, I just can't make 80, so I will lower my goal to 60.

GOAL COMPLETED!!! 33.65 mile ride today puts me at 63.65/60 goal.  I know it was a wimpy goal, but I'm getting back in the saddle as it were!

Log is updated.

Ooh, I just realized I'd been filling in the spreadsheet wrong. I've updated mine to show cumulative totals at the end of each week rather than just my total for that particular week. As of today, I only have 1 hour of time to go in order to reach my goal.

Hi Puffs!!!  I got a nice little ride in this morning here in super sunny San Diego!!!!  I brought my tri bike down here!  Wah hoo!  That baby moves with no effort!  Went 18 miles.  That puts me at 121/175 miles for the month!  I'm slowly but surely getting closer to my goal.  Cheers everyone!
