Subject: RE: 100 Pushup ChallengeI've been doing this same program for pullups. IT'S HARD!! I'm only trying to get to 60 pullups though. After reconsidering this program, I think I should have done everything at 60% to get to 60 pullups. I think the workouts overload too much and leave you tired at the last round. Yesterday I had to do two sets of 20, two sets of 18, two sets of 15, a set of 14 and then max. I got thru the two sets of 20 pullups, but the 18's were broken up a bit (took 5 seconds rest between each subset), as were the 15s. The 14 I got thru, but only got 10 on my max set. So I think the program is too intense for pullups. Might try it again at 60%, but I'll wait til after IMFL. You could probably do the pushups program at 100% for dips, since it's a chest/triceps move. |
