I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that did NOT received it and I had volunteered for this year. Has anyone received information on the "advance registration" before General Registration opens up? Looking to sign up for my 1st Full Ironman... Thanks. |

Veteran 200  Houston, TX | Subject: RE: 2013 IMTX Message forwarded to me from a friend on this volunteer issue--- something will be going out to all volunteers by the end of the day today! but, yes, the "early" registration is just going to be in conjunction with the opening day of registration-their answer to me was that Active.com could not put together a separate registration... they said, if the race filled up the first day, they would make sure all volunteers who wanted in could get in. last year, it took well over a month to fill up, fyi. thanks, greg So... I have not received any email other than the registration about July 11 being open to everyone, not just volunteers. Ironmantexas.com says, "IRONMAN is excited to announce that registration will be available for the 2013 Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas on Wednesday, July 11 at noon EST." |

I haven't received my email either, although i volunteered this year. I contacted the POC for my volunteer area and he hasn't heard anything either. |

Due to the constraints of the registration system, we are unable to offer priority registration window for 2012 athletes and volunteers. However, we do not anticipate there being any issue getting into the race for those interested in signing up on Wednesday, July 11th at 12:00pm EST. The 2012 event took a few months to sell out, so we do not foresee registration selling out much quicker than that for the 2013 race. We encourage you to be one of the first to enter the 2013 Ironman Texas race! World Triathlon Corporation

Veteran 290 | Subject: RE: 2013 IMTX crud. I am out. 2 years ago I primised my dad that my kids would travel with him to his 50yr hs reunion. Just realized that it is the EXACT same day as IMTX. Really glad I caught this today rather than tomorrrow. I guess I will limber up my fingers for a stab at imfl. |
