that is too funny...love the one of the smallest of your midgets with mouth wide open! what a mimmick! thanks for the smiles! I will post some pics tomorrow...but have to head back to our town square and put on a Swing / Lindy Hop Concert tonight....on Tuesdays thru the summer we offer free dance classes...we have a band or DJ set up and a local Redwood City School or Private Instructor comes out and does a demo of about 15-30 minutes and then thirty minutes of instructions and dance classes...then free dance for the last hour....lots of fun. On other Tuesdays we will be teaching Salsa, Country Western, Ball Room Dancing, Hip Hop, Latin Dance...it is a hit with our community! I will take some pics and post them along with some of me.....tomorrow....until then....go run - bike and swim....and take lots of pics! HAVE A GREAT EVENING EVERYONE! GOOOOOOOOO TNT!

I contacted all the challenge teammates...including those who have not been as chatty as....well....some of us!

and "MOST" have responded to me and told me they would be updating the spreadsheet in the next day or so....so, hoping this will help along with allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll those swims bike and runs that the rest of us are taking part in! Time to move up...no more last place, right!?! So lets all do our part and get those percentages next to your names up....we should all be at 75% by FRIDAY! go team!

Have I told everyone how much that I hate, completely and totally, the treadmill and stationary bike? It looks like I am going to be relegated to the inside for the next few days because of high winds and the associated sand. Ugghhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Today's factoid ---- Kuwait has to import sand to make concrete; the sand in the desert is too fine.

I HATE TREADMILLS AND STATIONARY BIKES!!!!!!!!!!!

The boyfriend spent a year in Kuwait/Iraq at the start of the war. He would send letters and the occassional package home to me. Everything - and I mean absolutely everything - was covered in a fine patina of sand. I couldn't believe it. I still find it unimaginable to put up with that heat and the sandstorms.

Anyhow...here's hoping that the winds die down quickly and you'll be able to get back outside soon.

so i updated the thing and i'm @ 62% total! (phew!! no swimsuit pics for ME!!) i am only @ 30-something % on swimming tho--so back to the pool i go. perhaps tomorrow dh can hang out with the kids for an hour, and i can swimmy swimmy.

OMG! Your kids are as goofy as you!!!

BTW, my daughter has NEVER had her hair cut...only trimmed...for 2 1/2 years of her life. DH started cutting it on Sunday and it ended up looking like this (below) because she wouldn't sit still.

tracy!! i totally feel for ya with the kiddies who won't sit still for a hair cut!! i just cut everyone's hair day before yesterday, and for 18 months, the baby was pretty good. i stood him on a chair in the bathroom, in front of the mirror, gave him a little cup, and turned the water on real low. he was occupied, and i got like a whole 7 minutes to cut on his hair!!
i had never cut dd's hair (except bangs) before, but i just cut it in a straight line across the back.
i don't think her hair (your DD) looks bad though, do you? i think it's cute

Well, when I left the house, my DH said he was going to even it up in the back so it was all one length. That would have meant it would have been a couple of inches below her shoulders because it was pretty long (see pic below). When I got back she looked like a boy because he hadn't styled it. (BTW, my DH went to cosmotology school right after high school. He cut my hair for years and it looked wonderful!). It took me a day or two to get used to by I do think it's cute now. Of course, she is a princess...she can pull off any style!

From the Challenge Announcement:
All training must be logged in your BT Training Log, by SATURDAY night, your time. If it’s not logged and reported, it didn’t happen!

For reporting, the weeks will run as follows:
June 1 - 7
June 8 - 14
June 15 - 21
June 22 - 28
June 29 - 30

The spreadsheet needs to be updated by midnight on Tuesday July 1st. (This gives everyone an extra day to log their June totals.)

I will pull the spreadsheets early on Wednesday July 2nd. So the final results will be posted probably late on Wed July 2nd.

the challenge runs until the last day of the month...30th. She will expect us to all have our spreadsheets updated by midnight on the 30th

DOh that was the cattle prodding Dee that you asked! soooooooooo never mind!

Close... The spreadsheets need to be updated by midnight on July 1st. (Your local time.)

(I figure that not everyone may be able to log on by the last day of the month. Doing it this way gives everyone a chance to record their training for the month and update the spreadsheet with their final totals. Also, some of the team captains are recording people's progress, so this gives them time to do this, too.)
