Um, I'm assuming the "you" in your previous post is not "you" as in "me" but the "you" as in the masses of grumpalumps in those threads? To be honest. I think people make sport of picking apart arguements for sport. Seriously just trolling. I could REALLY be good at that. Ignore the intent and pick apart someone's words instead of the meaning and play the opposit. But I get no joy in that and it seems so petty. It's scary that could be some people's sense of achievement, to knit pick someone on the internet. To get self worth or sense of achievement by putting someon else down on the internet. Real life is so much better to me.
Actually, was being suggestive to Salty, despite her proclivity.
But, I try and let the trolls go. My personal pet peeve is actually, "I've never bought a bike before, but this bikes direct has cheap prices. Shold I do that.". Can't tell you how that chaps my butt cheeks when everyone says its a perfect idea. But input my $0.02 and let it go.
You can't fix stupid. Or bull-headed.
I know what you're getting at as if "winning" an Internet discussion is a sense of accomplishment. Or belittling an alternate opinion makes you feel superior. That I agree with; it's a non-flattering behavior to bully anonymous people and feel a sense of accomplishment.
