And then this morning, Ricco gets ejected for doping.... *sigh* Such stupidity.... Dee - if you can get over your feelings about the current situation... get some footage from this years Giro....

Should I be nervous? hmmmm, that's sort of strange - maybe he lost his wedding ring or something and was trying to find it????? There was a weird guy walking around in the pool one day. He was looking down, too. But um, I don't think it was at his wedding ring..... And he was, um, exercising one arm..... I gave *serious* thought to getting out of the pool. Even MORE so than when the cockroaches were around.... 'Nuff said. Oh, and I didn't go swimming for more than a week after that. I kept getting grossed out when I thought of it. (I was going to tell Nibbs about it, but I was too grossed out to even do that. *shudder*) (Yes, I know I need to find a different pool. But this is the ONLY one in the three surrounding counties, so I'm stuck!) |

After giving us the prizes for the summer reading program (whoo whoo - love summer reading programs...elder monkey actually got a book - even if she's more excited about the ice cream coupon), we asked the kids librarian to help us find a book about types of dogs. The librarian was awesome with her. Does this mean you're getting a dog? |

"Will kickboards or lifejackets be allowed?" I discussed with her the possibility of us trying to accomodate her daughter with a lane near the wall, but even then I'm thinking that will cause havoc if we have to put four or more swimmers in a lane. What is she thinking letting her duaghter swim the distance if she's worried about her not making the distance. It's ONE lap in our outdoor pool. When's the Tri? Can she bring the kid down and have her practice more? Um, and if there are lane lines, couldn't the kid just hold onto them until she was ready to go again? |

Well, he's got to be a good climber anyway. (The EPO may have helped, but it's not the entire reason he can climb mountains. LOL) Where can I get footage from the Giro? |
