Ghoulies October: us v BT (Page 51)

I know!!! And I have 3 friends who are doing Vineman too.  

So when I tried to corner Hubby last night so we could work out living arrangements for the July race, all he would say is "that sounds like fun! Maybe I should do the race too. or I'll just stay home with the kids". 
Uh, no. He's done 2 tris. Both sprints, and he thought he was going to drown both times.

And I don't think I would be okay without some support out there! 

And this is my race, dangit!  

My brother said the same thing about a 70.3 I'm planning on doing next year. Haha. We will see if he can get the swimming together before I will let him sign up for a 2k OWS.

I don't know what kind of support crew I will have at IMLP. no one can commit. Looks like I might be casually dropping the bomb on my Mommy to come along...or my Ghoulie sherpas? haha

I would so volunteer, but I'm a little far away...and my 2 kids would have to come along, and they are not the best of sherpas.  

So my favourite first daughter movie is on next. Its called: First Daughter. Hahha. The hottest man in the whole world: Marc Blucas is in it. He's'so pretty. Sigh*. Okay...maybe not the hottest...I don't know if you can superlatively claim something like that...because there are a lot of hot people. But he is HAWT! Haha

Okey doke. I have a nurse meeting at work. I get to hear all about breastfeeding, so I can answer questions from the patients. You know, the patients with newborns who come in to the urgent care clinic with breastfeeding questions at night. There's tons of them. Like maybe one every 2 years. And I've never had any education about breastfeeding and how to help a new mom. Nope not once in 10 years of nursing. I suppose I should just be happy I don't have to sit and listen tot alk about routine immunizations for an hour. We aren't allowed to give anything other than a tetanus shot and maybe the occasional flu shot in after hours clinic becuase most insurance companies won't pay us to do them. Apparently they want the primary care physicians to do them, LOL. Fine by me. I hated doing them when I used to work during the day. Some day my boss will decide it's ok for the night-time nursing staff to have their own nurse meetings. Until then, she will continue to pay me to sit and be bored.
