It would have to be a matter of life or death to go to the dr now with less than a week left in the year (unless you already met the deductable).

Sadly, I have met the deductible.... But I really think it's just a bad cold. They don't "do" anything for colds. (It's a virus. Antibiotics won't work on them.) I started with classic "cold symptoms" on Wed - scratchy throat, etc. Yesterday, it arrived at the sinuses. Today, it's affecting the chest and ears. If it continues to affect the chest and ears, then yes, I'll go. I really don't want a secondary infection, like bronchitis or an ear infection.... I hate being sick. I'm not a good patient. I'm cranky. (Crankier.) I'm miserable. (Miserabler.) Etc. I'm using tissues like there's no tomorrow, too.... And I sound like a flock of sick geese! :P

mine was just in my chest, had the barky cough thing going on - still do - it's hanging on - glad I missed out on the stuffy head though!
