kns57 - 2010-09-22 10:42 AM Amy - those fires looked really scary.

Robin - come on girl, you can get another star.  Congrats on 14 years, and may you have many more togheter.

Bill - seperate vacations?  I struggle with that one.  My sister and her hubby do that, but not for me.  I like spending my vacation with my best friend who also happens to be my hubby.  I don't mind the occasional girls weekend, but not a whole vacation.

Anne & Kim - hoping that all the job hunting works out and the hill training will pay off.

Neal - send some rain to GA.  I can't believe that we are back in a drought.  Weren't even out of it for a year.

Melindy - if a guy is a keeper than it doesn't matter where you meet him.  Hubby and I met at work and I would have never thought that we would have gotten together when we first met.  Now, I can't imagine my life without himl

Tom - Have fun training in Pensacola.

Hello to anyone I've missed.

I just want to walk by him eating a sandwich or something...be like "see??? I eat??" I just don't get the context of the statement of "make sure you are eating, everytime I see you, you have lost more weight...you are going to waste away"...PS...I see him pretty much every day...haha...I am pretty sure I am not wasting away from one day to the next..

Without tone and infliction I am guessing 1 of 2 things

1) he is trying to make conversatio, but failing miserably

2) he is a know it all and thinks he knows better than anyone else

But we have conversations...this is more of an adjunct to conversations...He's not really the know it all...I'm more the know it all...haha...He makes fun of me for it all the time...

I think he's flirting then.

Pah. I'm just going to take it as it comes...

I don't understand anything anymore...haha...

I feel I need this MSK course ASAP!

You need a weekend in Carlsbad, CA with a few older, more experienced girls. You will learn more than you ever wanted to know.

Hi ghoulies!

So I decided to keep my orthopedist appointment today (the one that was scheduled over a month ago when I was having groin issues).  I wanted to make sure there was nothing that might cause problems down the road.

Doc said things looked good.  I think his exact words were "you have good looking hips," which I wasn't sure how to take.  Then he practically kicked me out of the room so he could tend to "real" patients when I told him I did an Ironman 10 days ago without an issue.

Good peace of mind to have though.

kns57 - 2010-09-22 11:34 AM Hello Ghouls.

Been under the weather the past couple of days.  Don't know if it was food poisoning or just a 24 hours bug, but hubby and I were both home yesterday (staying really close to the bathroom), and I'm still home today.  Not fun.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather   Hope you start feeling better soon!

It is Wednesday and I have yet to run this week.

We have been having thunderstorms all evening, complete with a power outage, high winds and LOTS of lightning. I know I need to run, but I've been pretty run down the past couple of days so the break is welcome.

Hello , my chatty, chatty Gouhlies.  It is crunch time here--the marathon is this saturday, and we just reached full capacity for the half, and will hit capacity for the full within the next day or so. We went from just over 500 racers last Friday to about 750 racers as of today. We had no idea what to expect, with this being the first year for this race, but what a good problem to have!!! Now we are hoping that we have enough finisher's medals for everyone that shows up! *eek*
