I decided on my party dress last night... I just have NO IDEA what to wear with it, make up, hair etc etc etc... I tried taking a picture of it but it wont come out because its layered and my camera is crap and doesnt really pick up the details... But is something like this: But its 4 layer/tiers and all in black, knee length and the straps are a bit thicker: The shoes i bought dont work... Im going to need some sort of closed toe not strappy thing to make my legs look pretty... But Im worried I need some colour... and that I need something to make me stand out or look different rather than just me in a black dress... and it doesnt show off my clevage (very unusual for any thing i find that suits me which is a big part of the dresses appeal) How about adding a little color with a shawl of some sort to drape over your sholders? hmmm that might work... or a little shrug thing that will hide the tops of my arm which is the bit Im worried about (even though I know it WONT stay on once i start dancing... most of the photos will have been taken by then and we know thats all the counts right?)

I have to work on my performance review carp. I should maybe start taking notes about the things I accomplish through the year. I can barely remember what I did yesterday let alone what I did six months ago! Oh joy - each year I say I will take notes and I never do! Ever... Last one I did was a stand up powerpoint presentation... it worked well in the end because since my job is to devise the way to sell programmes and find supporting data/research etc it was kind of like proving I could do the job to sell myself... Cant imagine that strategy would work for you though! I work for Big Corporation. Everyone has to fill out the same templated, fill-in-the blanks type dealie. I got a promotion last year so not going to get one again this year. And with the ecomony in its current state I'm guessing raises aren't going to be anything wonderous. Sort of sucks the motivation right out of me. Why work hard on something that isn't going to give me any gains? Yeah we have the compulsory form too... but we are also disorganised so its easier to do yuor own thing then sit with manager and fill in form later... usually we just staple my presentation to the form and figure if we mess up filling it in there is so much documentation they can figure it out in HR! |

I just dont go out like that... Im of the jeans and a top with heels is dressing up... and also appropriate work attire if I can swing it! |

I dont need to be there with them... I just dont want to FAIL entirely! |

I'm starting totally from zero. I have no energy. It's tough to do basic things or even go for a half-hour run. But I REALLY BELIEVE and I KNOW things were gonna get better.
