You just need to ask nicely and most guys will bring you coffee.  It is kind of a long trip for Neal and Tom, so if the need is urgent perhaps one of those HAWT residents would deliver some to you.

Bike nutrition.  The general rule is 200-300 calories per hour of riding, but will vary from individual to individual. You don't want more than that because your body can't process the extra calories.  You can get away with less (I do, but I'm weird) but that's up to you.  How you get those calories is also entirely up to you.  I like to do both a mix of fluids (gatorade endurance) and solids (clif bar, shot bloks, etc.).  I will use gels on really long rides to mix things up a little and I get tired of chewing.  As far as amount of fluids, the more the better, especially as it gets warmer out.  Remember you'll want to be drinking before you feel thirsty.  If you have a place to stop and replenish too that's a good thing.

A girl wants to be more than an excuse to get out of work, but your finish was well-played.  I'm just here to help.
