Easy. Swimsuit and pull on some cycling shorts in T1. Presto, instant tri suit
No excuses, Cat.  You need to do this both mentally and physically.  It isn't the time or the pace....it's finishing the race.  It's silencing the doubt and junk that has come with being sidelined for the past 2 years.

Bathing suit, bike shorts....I know you have them

You are 100% right about the mental junk... wonder if I can talk anyone from work into doing it with me... Im pretty sure the flatmate will still be away which would be good because I will feel like I sneak off and do it without him telling me a cant...

I've gone to many races alone before.  Triathletes are the bestest people in the world.  Maybe you'll even meet someone and convince them to sign up on BT...and then come play on Nibbs...

... the figure out what Im really like...

All the better...

Im more thinking trouble.... Im the Super Cat/Super Vixen... my real identity has to be a secret!

I'm gonna turn in also. Going to swim as soon as the kiddos leave for school. Last workout before my race. OK, Cat. It's a done deal, right? You will sign up for this. It will be fun. No pressure, no worries, just you swimming, riding your bike and wralking.

Nighty night, Niblets

Hi Kendra!!!

Hi, I was reading back and I agree with everyone, you should race. I agree it is hard making the commitment sometimes, but once you do, you know you'll have fun.

And I know you can do it. You are only competing for yourself, so no one to try to beat but you. I always set a time I want to beat and if I beat it, yeah. I'm hoping to race again next year and I'll be like you, no races this past year, not since August 07. So it will have been two year, but I know I'll do at least one, if not more.

Lets see 300m swim... 6-8 minutes tops...

9k bike... 30 minutes MAX (big time)

3k run... who knows.... 30 minute walk...

I did the 250/10/2.5k years ago and it took me around 45 minutes... ok I had no injuries, no health issues and no extra weight at that point... but if I did this in an hour Id be stoked...
