We have this "Asian Mix" that I bought at Costco and it has nuts in it - peanuts and cashews (my fav!). Then, we bought this dried fruit mix at Costco and it has nuts in it, too - peanuts & almonds. I have obviously been eating too much of both! YIKES! |

Are you right-handed? If you veer towards the right, it may indicate that your right arm is stronger than your left. (Or your stroke may just be more efficient on the right side....) |

Expert 642 | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) Well folks - I've changed my schedule up a little tomorrow. Instead of doing a long bike ride of 30 miles I think I'll make it a smaller ride and add a few running miles so I can reach those running goals. How is everyone doing with the challenge this week? I'd love to hit 110% with all three sports but I think I'll just be barely making 100% with the running. Funny how running is my FIRST sport! |

Veteran 232 Rio Rancho, New Mexico | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) OK, made it home.....with my laptop....thanks Lyssa. Good ride home and I just beat the rain (yeah, I know, it actually does rain in the desert sometimes) This ride takes me to 95% for my bike and I reached 100% for my run and with my 10k race tomorrow I will easily make 110% on that. The swim is where the challenge will be this week, but I will make 100% based on what I have planned. |

I did a 15.5. mile ride and then a 4.5 mile run. I was kickin' it on the run because I felt I didn't get a great workout on the bike because of this: http://picasaweb.google.com/tracyendo/PhotoBikeTour Enjoy |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) June Challenge Team Standings - Week #3June is now 73% completed, and we're almost at the END OF THE CHALLENGE! Here's how the teams stand, with just over a week to go:FIRST PLACE - Kamikaze Geckos - 65.9% SECOND PLACE - Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) - 61.3% THIRD PLACE - Avatar Avengers - 58.6% FOURTH PLACE - Cheesecake Lovers - 56.5% Congratulations to the KAMIKAZE GECKOS! BUT June isn't over yet! We still have 8 more days to go! So remember - if you don't MOVE IT this month, your team is likely to LOSE IT! And remember - You may now achieve 110% of your individual goals! This means you can challenge yourself even more, or help out teammates who may be struggling to meet their goals. For example: Your swim goal may now reach 110% Your run goal may now reach 110% Your bike goal may now reach 110% Your "other" goal may now reach 110% Each individual goal will be capped at 110%. (In other words, you can't do 125% of a goal.) This means that you could, conceivably, reach a "super achiever" 110% total. Need a reminder of what happens at the end of June? The winning team(s) will display a signature line: "My team won the June Challenge!" All other (losing) teams will display an avatar of something that SHOULD have made them move more! This could be your shoes (ie: you should have run more), or your bike (ie: you should have biked more), or your bathing suit (ie: you should have swam more), or.... etc. Avatars and signature lines will be displayed for the month of July. After that, it's your choice whether to leave it, or remove it. - Dee |

Master 2339 somewhere over the rainbow | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) tracy, that was such a rad tour of your ride!! i feel like i was right there with you (i can count the mileage RIGHT??!?!) i have some friends that live in richmond, i haven't talked to them or seen them in years, i should look them up. the sign for dulles reminded me. they live right near there.dh is out walking with the baby just now, when he gets back, he'll probably make me run. the area where i live is for the most part vacation homes, and most of the time, it's pretty quiet around here. but with the solstice yesterday, and being the first weekend in a LONG time that the weather has been nice, there are just TONS of annoying, obnoxious, RUDE, vacation-weekend-home types around here. i sort of don't like running on weekends with them around. they're rude, honestly. super rude. but whatever. i might go out for a quickie anyway. i know that i'll hit my mileage for june either way, and i feel like that's a good excuse to NOT go, however, it's not ALWAYS about the challenge, more about consistancy, so perhaps i should? i don't know. i haven't made up my mind yet. i have a massage in the morning-OHTHANKGOD!!! so tomorrow might be out as far as running goes, but i have a planned swim. my mom has a friend who's husband is a certified pool guy (he does the pump and chemical stuff and whatever) and he works at a place 20 minutes even FARTHER from my house than the REGULAR place where i swim (which is 45 minues from my home) but she wanted to show me the pool, and take the kids there and stuff, so i convinced my mom to come with, so she can watch my kids, and i can do laps for a while. i don't know how long i'll realistically be able to swim, but i'll at least get a few minutes in. i'm shooting for an hour, however unrealisitic that is. lol so in a nutshell, there's my weekend. (sorta forgot i was posting on here, and not on my blog. HA HA HA HA, easily distracted, that's my middle name!!) |

Veteran 232 Rio Rancho, New Mexico | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) I was a good boy last night and instead of doing a raid of the pantry, even though I was super tempted, I went next door to my neighbor and dropped off his packet for the race, which will be his first ever. He is doing the 5k and I am doing the 10k. Still feels weird having a race this evening instead of a Sunday morning. Don't know what I am gonna do today. Want to take it easy, but I am used to being busy with the family and going to my in-laws for Sunday dinner later on, but because of the race it I won't be going today. Oh well, probably head out for a sensible brunch with the family in a while, then after that we will just have to see. Need to just keep thinking about that lovely yummy Ben & Jerry's ice cream (race sponsor) and pizza, which is the totally unhealthy post race refreshments tonight!!! Should be a bit of fun, hopefully I will be feeling up for it by 7pm tonight. Hope everyone is having a fun day. |

That is such a cool idea. Maybe I will have to try and do one of those. HA! Reminds me of the comment I made to DH on the way home from Maryland tonight. We got caught in the middle of a big storm and I said well, maybe we'll get caught up in a tornado and be home in like 3 seconds! I love photography so I was a little miffed that I had the crapola camera with me today. I'm going to take the somewhat better than crapola camera with me the next time I do a long(er) ride. The best thing is that I was able to take all those shots without anyone seeing me and thinking I was a freak! 5 am on a Sunday morning everyone is still in bed! |
