I really "heart" tomato soup and grilled cheese.  My favorite Friday night special!

It is one of my favorites too! Very excited for dinner tonight!

This is sad............
Mary Queen of Scotch (however I HATE scotch).

That is really funny.  My friends are having a "Come dressed as your favorite drink" party next weekend.  Haven't decided what I am going to go as yet....Any ideas?

whats your favorite drink?

I think my favorite would have to be champagne...maybe I will get a tan pair of pants and shirt and put balloons on it for the bubbles!

Champagne loving TopPage!

that would be a UBER FUN COSTUME KATIE and so easy to put together.

definately trumps my shot of tequila idea.

stacieb

i definately like the tequila idea too!

ive  been sitting here thinking of costume ideas and im not even going to party.

maybe i need to hunt down a halloween party to go to so i can dress up like a shot of Tequila.

hell.  my 1/2 MARY is the day after halloween, im sure somebody will be dressed up in a costume to run the race...

maybe i could run the race in a SHOT OF TEQUILA COSTUME.

LOL.

that would make me UBER grateful by the end of 13.1, huh?  especially if i brought some actual Tequila along in my fuel belt. ya know for a prop.

giggle.

stacieb

That would be hilarious!  Some people stagger across the finish line because they are exhausted...you might because of the tequila!

at least ill have that excuse when i DO stagger across the finish line in pain.

LOL.

blame it on the TEQUILA.

stacieb

actually staggering across in pure exhaustion.

its been a looooooooooooooong training season.

ive been training for some event since January.

it'll be a HUGE relief.  i may need a shot of TEQUILA.

several.

stacieb

You have had a great season Stacie!  It has been such an inspiration to watch you this season!

Stacie is an INSPIRATION! TopPage

aw. KATIE.  thats so kind of you to say.

you really have 'seen' a lot of my season, we've been on so many challenge teams together, havent we?

its been an eventful season that's for sure.

and ive learned a lot

and ive come really far in a short time.

and ive been consistent and persistent.

and im ready to put the 2009 season to bed.

ooooh yummmy.

PALEO DIET LESSON.

tomato basil soup if homemade, PALEO.

the grilled cheese.  NOT SO PALEO.  no grains/bread.  processed.  no cheese.  processed.

:P

stacieb

Soup is homemade so it would be ok.  See the no grains and no cheese would be a big problem for me...Bread and cheese are two of my favorite things!

oooooh.  you need to share the recipe with me ok?

i thought i wouldnt make it w/out bread and cheese too, but you know, its been OK.

ive made two meals and two snack PALEO (see i pick and choose)

breakfast and lunch

morning snack and afternoon snack.

then tonight i did evening snack PALEO.

dinner would be IMPOSSIBLE.

i already make like three different things - something for me, something for 2 sons and DH, and something for my son who have all sorts of food aversions....

i cant even imagine what it would be like following the diet when you go out to eat or at a party

OI ME>

i mean you can eat salad, but you cant use dressings of any sort.

you can use olive oil and lemon juice, from what ive read, and that's about it.

i guess if you went to a resturant where they had olive oil on the table, you could get lemons.

but still.....

like the party that we went to over the weekend, there was chili and kielbasa, hot dogs, buffalo chicken dip, et al.

someone brought a salad, but they put the dressing on before they served it.

i could've packed food, i did that when i was losing weight, but only when it was family.

these were aquaintences and would have been perceived as being 'rude' im sure if i had.

besides.

i love an occassional bowl of chili and a S'more now and again.

you know.
