ratherbeswimming - 2012-10-11 1:27 PM Well, at least I accomplished something useful today: Posting on this page

How come no matter for how long Elaine disappears from TAN, she always seems to find a way to post on the magic page?

I'm an expert when it comes to timing

lonoscurse - 2012-10-11 1:33 PM I just found out that my children are classified by the DOE as Native American.  I wonder what that means beyond a different box checked on a form.

Casino royalties?

Unfortunately no.  The DOE classification is much less stringent than tribal membership (which entitle casino royalties).

Sadly, work has been all consuming as of late...and going well, I will carve out some TANning time for this afternoon potentially while filing my audacious expense report for the month of August.  It's upwards of $44.  Important stuff

If the classifications is just based on family stories, they might want to avoid running for Senate in Massachusetts in the future.

well, that's no fun.  I'm sure that there are some benefits down the road as it will technically give them a minority classification.  May open some doors in terms of school grants and the like.

That's the part I'm wondering about.  With my son graduating HS this year, every little bit helps.
