80% humidity.....fun????.....you have sick sense of humor!...."enjoy" the run!

Isn't that part of being a triathlete - having fun doing silly things in silly weather while other "normal" folks are at home enjoying the air conditioning?  On the plus side, actual temps are only in the 70s and it's cloudy out.  So at least I won't be getting baked by the sun on top of it all.  It will only be hard to breath, what with the air being thick enough to cut with a knife.

Now I may be out of danger of a speedo pic for this week myself.....but the thought of logging on and catching a glimpse of one of the guys wearing the items above in a pic may motivate me to be very careful scrolling down this thread for the next week or so!

My mid-forty, bad knees and back (too long playing rugby) does not have a chance I already have problems when I show up to race and gravitate towards the middle of the pack with "normal" sized people and get asked the standard questions of "are you racing" or the worst -- a nice young person telling me that I sould move towards the spectator area because the race is about to start ---- UGH!!!!
