Well I have to say that the 3 days leading up to the race are the hardest. I am definately getting the rest I need, but I am so ancy. Only one more day until my first tri. I'm so excited. I'll post a race report as soon as I can.

Okay....the race report is up! Not bad for my first tri. I was amazed at how many people never completed or quit after the swim, 180 out of 850. It was a great experience. Now I have a better idea on what I need to work on, open water swimming and running. Anyway...on to the next one. I have another tri in 3 weeks.

Way to go Cheri,   I better get busy here soon or you will have more career races than me by the time I "start" my season.

I have definately been bitten by the multisport bug. With one more race this month then one per month through October I just hope I can keep up with it all.

I think most of you know that I had been training with a nationally ranked athlete for the past ten weeks. Well.....I have just been given another opportunity of a lifetime. My training partner knows a pro triathlete that has agreed to take on five athletes to train. I have been asked to join the small group to train with her for the summer. Oh my gosh!!!! Can this get any better? She has arranged for a specific swim coach, track coach and she will do our bike, bricks and clinics. I am certainly a very lucky girl!

You lucky dog!!!! I would kill for a track coach alone. Well, maybe not kill, but you know. That is awseome! Feel free to share any tips or advice that you find especially helpful.

Great spring everyone.  I hope you are still working to be where you want to be at.  Keep building or rebuilding.  It is a lifetime process, one you think you "arrive" you start decaying, dying or stop growing.

Hello everyone!

Is this forum still working? The last post was in May... I had to travel a lot in May and June, so I basically did not do any training whatsoever! I am starting again now. Oh well... Better late thank never.
