I've only got 25 mins. to go!

I'm not even planning to take a look at the loser's avatar since I know this is a winning team.

Come on Canucks! We have a winning streak going, so let's keep it up.

Here's my beef today.

If we were all to set underachieving goals for this challenge, we'd all be at 100% by the first week of the month. But then so could every other team.

Where is the "challenge" in achieving your goal so early? i.e. the smack talk about who is leading the race. If all teams finish the month at 100%, who wins?

I could quite easily inflate my numbers if I rode at half my normal pace, but what's the freakin point?

I've been a bit absent of late... sorry people... I'm getting in my time on the bike though... I expect to get in another 1 hour tongiht which will put me within 3 hours of my goal... So I'll get there.  Good job to everyone so far... We are going quite strong and holding our own... Now get on those bikes and lets aim for 100% again!

Howdy folks. Battling a nasty chest cold over here, but seeing that I'm only 2 hours from my goal, I shouldn't have a problem getting the time in next week. Might even be able to get out for a ride on the weekend... if I don't leave a lung on the roadside, that is.

Happy riding!

ok you have 9 more days of this challenge left.  I want to see everyone out there riding hard, reaching their goals.  Even if you are not going to make 100%, just keep putting in the time because the closer you are to 100% the better off the whole team will be.  Great job to those of you who have already reached your goals.  I'm impressed!

On a side note, I was at the gym yesterday and put in some time on a spin bike.  It was hard, I was tired, akward position, but I did it.  So I have a challenge for those of you still needing to meet your goals.  I'm willing to take you all on.  I will pledge 171mins.  Thats my personal goal for the rest of the month.  If I reach my goal, you get to change your sig line to something embarassing about a girl with a broken arm putting you to shame.  If I lose, I too will take on the fuzzy loser avatar for this challenge.  So hows that sound?  Any takers?   This inter-canadian challenge starts today.

Go Elly!! That is the Canuck spirit!
Good luck reaching your goal.

I certainly don't want any Canucks to sandbag numbers.
Set realistic (or slightly optimistic) goals and then chase them.

My March bike goal is higher than what I rode in Feb.
I'll admit I'm ahead of my target pace. I planned to take the week off of riding while in Florida because I was not taking my bike. But, I bought one while I was there and rode it a lot. So I am ahead by about 1 week.
It just sorta happened.

The encouragement that myself and other Canucks are offering is an attempt to motivate everyone to chase their goals. You set the bar for yourself. Now go get it.

Go Canucks Go !!

I totally agree... if ppl finished their goals with lots of time to spend... I CALL SANDBAGGING IT.... cuz the point like you said was to "CHALLENGE" yourself, not slack *** it.

YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!! But I must disagree on one part of your write up.... that is "Even if you are not going to make 100%, just keep putting in the time because the closer you are to 100% the better off the whole team will be"

THERE IS NO REASON THAT ANYONE AGAIN ANYONE SHOULDN'T GET THEIR 100 %, IF THERE IS BESIDE INJURY, THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SIGNED UP FOR THIS.... NO EXCUSES TO ANYONE....

LETS KICK SOME YANKEE ARSE!!!!!!

I had an awesome ride today!!!  It was so nice and sunny out.  I did about 65k today or about 2.5 hours.  So I'm within about 30 min of my goal.... I thought tha 11.5 hours would be a bit of a streach for me, but this ride put me pretty close to my goal with 6 days to go...  We're on the home streach!  Let get on those bikes and get to 100%.  Good job so far everyone.

I'm done team! I thought that the number of hours I pledged would be difficult to attain for me...but isn't that what a challenge is all about?

We've got only a few more days left. Get on your bike Canucks!

100%
