Thankfully no vegans - just one person with a severe dairy allergy and another who is vegetarian... so thankfull the dairy person easts meat and the vegie person eats dairy! Im thinking BBQ perhaps - so salads, bread and some meat/mushrooms/vegie kebabs should be plenty. Just trying to work out what to do for snacks/starters and dessert... although perhaps some cake with a bit of ice cream or something will be enough? I think starters/snacks will be the biggie actually.. do that right/ake it appetising enough and no one will mind too much that dinner is pretty simple!
But if you have a good idea for feeding a big group thats more practical I am VERY open to suggestions! |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: Super Cats, Under Dogs and Anthropomorphic Super Heroes butterfinger icecream take a gallon of icecream...place it in a bowl and let it soften...almost completely melt ~ take 8 large butterfinger candy bars and pound them/punch them/beat them with a spoon/or use your super powers to break them into small pieces. Trick is to not open the candy bar wrappers til you are done breaking them up! then tear open and dump all but one of them in the bowl. mix well...and you can either place in freezer in original container or in small serving bowls with crunched up graham crackers in the bottom...or you can go buy one of the chocolate pre made crusts or graham cracker crusts that you find in the jello section of your store...and add the ice cream to that...place in freezer and let it freeze a good two to three hours...I make mine the night before...if you truly want to impress your group then you take a plate and drizzle chocolate on the plate cut a piece of pie place on the plate you just decorated...add some of the sprinkles from that one butterfinger candy bar you saved from the batch...and a dollup of whip cream...and you will be talked about for ages! and be always remembered! you can also do the above recipe with coffee ice cream and heath bars...with caramel drizzles! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm my sister used to own a restaraunt and I can not tell you how many butterfinger bars I had to break up! TOO MANY! but I still make it the dessert of choice for all my potlucks! I think you can make the dessert quicker then trying to read what I just wrote about it! SERIOUSLY VERY EASY and YUMMY for THE TUMMY! |
