wgraves7582 - 2009-11-05 5:38 AM Well I am reserved to cheerleader until 12/1.  No walking for me either now.

Go crappy weather participants.  Just don't compile too many points on me please!

Oh no -- what did you do?

I have been struggling with ITB issues and it flared up yesterday while I was walking and me and the Chiro felt an impact free month is the best option right now.

I have not run in 2 weeks so now I am looking at the whole month off of walking and riding (where I score most of my winter points anyways!)  It is all good though - I want to be ready for cross country and snow shoeing come december!

Hope you heal fast!!

Hey cayrip, I'm in CO too -- you just gotta get out before sunrise.  It's in the 20s every morning at my house

THis morning hubby suggested putting the trainer out on the covered deck so I could ride in 20* weather and get more points.  I think he just wants my bike out of the living room

I never thought I would say this, but its too warm out!  I live in WI and they are forecasting highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 40s this weekend... its November! I guess I have to hope for winds and rain for the time being if I want to get any points...

I know we will pay for this come January.

Maybe if it is cool enough tomorrow morning I will have to get out on the bike.

Yes but you are lucky enough to live in the mountains.  In Boulder it has been 55 and 58 degrees at 5 am the last two mornings respectively.  Arrggh.  I'll get my cold weather pain in but it is going to have to wait awhile.  This warm spell is lasting and I'm enjoying the last bits of it.

Super busy this week but passing through and good to see my baby from a few years back it still going.  Took last winter off but might be playing along and I have a run focus (a lot of running and do most of it outdoors= Lumberdad might have a challenger!)

Wow, I didn't realize there was that much difference in the morning.  When the sun warms things up we're usually only 10 degrees cooler than Denver, and I assume Boulder.  Might as well enjoy it!  Sounds like it's going to cool down this weekend.

Debating whether to ride the bike or go and strength train. Then I checked the temps - 33 degrees. That settles it. I need some points. Going for a ride!!!

Today was my day.  It was 29 when I woke up but I took so long to get out...by then  it had warmed up to 37.   My furnace died....does living in 55 degrees count.  Maybe I should open up the windows!   Tomorrow is my day for sure!!!!

Temps had to be in the 70s today for our ride --- wonderful!!  Rode and ran in shorts today   I'd rather have heat than CWWC points any day!  But it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow....

Cooler today but not cool enough for points.  Cool enough that I'm drinking hot tea to warm up again before hitting the pool.  Hope everyone's having a great weekend!!

Got some good points yesterday.
There was almost nobody riding but I was far to be the craziest mind out there. As I was riding along the St-Lawrence river, I saw a trio of surfers ready to dip their big toe. It was barely 35F!!!!

Still too warm to score points although early morning temps may get cool enough for points on the bike.

68 here today.  This is ridiculous.  I can't even get on the board!  (But I guess I shouldn't complain about the nice days.  I'll take a couple more nice ones before the snow starts to fly.)

Finally cold enough to score points (34 degrees this morning) but I opted not to ride the 30 miles into work but go for a lunchtime run instead (it should be in the 60's by lunch).  Still no points for me.
