Hi to Josh's Group!!!!

I just stopped by to tell you all what a great mentor you have. Who else could you call the day before a halfironman and say " wanna run a 1/2 mary this week as part of a relay team?" and he says yes without hesitation!!!!

I can always depend on Josh for an early spring OWS when no one else will come out and play!

Have fun!!!!

Josh,
I was just wondering if you had any experience with compression socks?  I read they were supposed to be good for archille tendonitis.

I have a confession, I cheated on our group today.  I saw that swmbkrun already has 47 pages!!!  So I had to go see what all the hub bub was about.  Well, they have 25 people, so that's why they have such a high page count.  We're still the coolest group.

Good morning everyone.  I hope everyone is ready for their holiday weekend.  I am glad to be home for all of 12 hours.  We are ready to head down the to inlaws.  I will have lots of free time over the next couple of days and will be answering all the questions post over the last couple of days.  Thanks to all for your well wishes and good thoughts.  I am slowly becoming an expert in chemotherapy and anti nausea drugs.  Have a Merry Christmas Eve or happy Thursdays for those not celebrating.

P.S. There is no question we have the best group, and it's not because of the mentor

I hope you have all been good, but I for one have not.  I've eaten more junk than I have in the last year.  Yikes!!  It feels terrible.  I'm already paying the price.   More incentive to get off my hiney .

Merry Christmas!

Good morning.  I hope everyone had a great day holiday.  Mine was good.  I got some compression socks and compression tights (in the mail).  And my wife gave me a $200 AMEX gift card so I can pick out whatever else I need for training.  I know someone asked a question about the compression socks the other day.  I will give you first hand feed back in a couple of days.  I am sorry to say that I have not been a good example this week.  I have eaten way too much this weekend and haven't done anything active except trying for hours to put together my son's Transformers.  These are a lot harder to do than I remember.  Anyone have big plans for the rest of the weekend?

I survived!!  Still have company till Sunday but managed to get in a good early work out this morning.  Paying the price for the chow down last couple of days.  But on a bright note--reg opened today for the Lake George Triathalon-OLY.  I am officially registered!! Off and running on the training sch--this one is my main goal for the year.

Going to try very hard to be good the rest of the weekend.  Ate more than I care to admit yesterday, so going to try to work it off today.  Riding lessons with my son, then a run.  Lots of playing with the new toys (mine and the boys)!  Testing my new heart rate monitor on the run today.  Hope everyone had a great day yesterday and can have a productive weekend.
