givemashot - 2008-06-19 9:54 AM I'm either Mom of the Year, or a hero in my son's eyes. I just told him that not only can he go outside to play if he puts sunscreen on first, he can even play in the sprinklers. He's was so overjoyed he threw the lego ship he was building and went running through the house, yelling "Yay!" and "bonus!", and ordering begging his big sister to join him. If only I his dad were that happy to please.

thats cool - I think right now you are the Best Mum ever!!! Sounds like you made him very happy!

Hi Cat!

have you done your presentation yet?

Just had the final run through... a million trillion tims better than yesterday afternoon...

I was a mess yesterday afternoon, just had enough... so (do NOT tell my boss or anyone else I know) last night i left work about 4:45pm and missed the rush hour traffic.

Went to the Shopping Centre near home and caught a 5:30 screening of the Sex in the City movie (I cannot believe they stole the baby name I wanted!). Got home about 8:30 where i ate some dinner, watched a little tv and went to bed... where I got some solid hours SLEEP for the first night this week...

And still made it to work for an early meeting... I feel so much more myself today!

Moral of the story: In future... the night before a big presentation be organised enough (wherever possible) to take an early mark and relax doing something completely different (that stops you from thinking about work) the night before...

The real thing is about 3.5 hours away but Im feeling good!

PS: There are a LOT of teary moments in theat movie and because i was already exhausted and on edge there were far too many waterworks... good think I watched it solo!

well, I guess they were there about 20 min or a little longer, which I think it good - that's about the longest I've spent in any house I've looked at

we have another showing tomorrow at 11 am

so, that's all positive right?

Thats a great sign... it means they had a really serious look at the place! Hopefully they will be back for a second look or even give you an offer!

Nope it makes it feel like a proper meal and more food. Plus it makes you treat it like a real meal rather than fast food which should mean you mentally feel fuller...

Isnt that a weight loss strategy Ive seen recommended somewhere?

hmmmm, maybe so

it just makes me feel better to not eat out of the little plastic container - funny how the mind works

I can understand that... although my favourite frozen meal is a WW chicken lasagne which is so cloppy there is no way I could move it out of the container and on to a plate.
