I haven't logged the rides yet (I did the MS150 this weekend) but let's just say... hilly (13,000+ ft. of climbing?), oh, and imagine the heat of south Georgia... then add about 10 degrees to what you might imagine that might be. I think it was about 96 or so. My legs are surprisingly cooperative (though maybe DOMS will get me tomorrow) and I *think* my girl parts have forgiven me. I hope they forgive you... where is the fun if they dont! Precisely!!! I started to leave a couple of inspires that said to think happy thoughts about them over the weekend but then I realized that sounded kinda dirty. I liked it . Think it depends on who you leave the inspires for... some of understand |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) That was MUCH easier to catch up! Although actually posting requires far more responses than post-padding. I noticed our lead is slipping - keep it up, team, keep it up!! mila - 2008-09-12 8:03 AM ebshot - 2008-09-12 7:45 AM Slugger - 2008-09-12 4:49 AM I had a super-healthy snack last night and tonight that I must share with you. It included hot-ish peppers (not super hot), cream cheese, breadcrumbs, a frying pan, and oil. Heart healthy, it was. Yummers! They were basically oversized jalapeno poppers, only not that hot. I haven't perfected the recipe yet, so I must have more. I love harvest season. And apples are starting to come in....oooohhhh...... Yummmmmmyyyyyy! That sounds like heaven. Think I'll try it this weekend. Thanks Slugger! X2. That does sound good. Slugger can make 'em for me when I move in. What kind of peppers are they? Pablano? Trying to think of big jalepeno lookin' peppers that aren't that hot. Now I have the song Drop It Like It's Hot running through my head. Thanks for that... So, how'd you like it? I have no idea what kind of peppers they were. The person who planted them decided that labeling them all "Peppers" would be sufficient. Mm-hmm. So we have sweet peppers (bells), mild peppers, slightly hotter peppers, and a wee touch hotter peppers. All labeled the same. And I know nothing of hot peppers, so I can't identify them. Oh well, just makes cooking interesting! |

Right. Slugger - 2008-09-12 4:45 AM mila - 2008-09-11 9:25 PM Um, does it have to be taser-free? Well, I suppose if the Janet is still on the table. I bet Hotlanta is a good place to go in February... Will you wear pink Chucks and a tiara?D001 - 2008-09-11 9:16 PM kaqphin - 2008-09-11 9:07 PM That... and I kind of like her too... can you be scared of someone and REALLY like them too? (I dont want to upset her...) Maybe we should visit her in GA. Of course, first, we'd have to develop Taser-Shields....
If you two come to Hotlanta I promise it will be taser-free fun. I won't make any Naughty Janet promises, though . Yes of course I will! You make it sound as though I sometimes don't. February is a little chilly here. You know, like in the 50's and such... hee hee... February is a little chilly here, too. You know, like in the 50's and such. Below. |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) esc - 2008-09-12 5:50 PM Had to make an emergency trip to the eye doc today. Turns out I have an ulcer on my eye. Which explains why it hurts. A lot. Now I'm stuck wearing my glasses for at least a week. I do not have any "sport" glasses so running and biking should be interesting. The ole rimless specs aren't exactly rugged and tight fitting. And swimming - swimming could be interesting. I'm blind as a bat with out the coke-bottle lenses. Might have to spring for the optix goggles. On the plus side, the glasses cover up the racoon eyes tan line. Oh NO! That sucks hard! I hope you heal up soon. Maybe (don't tell Dee) take time off of swimming? I can't imagine the chlorine is good for it? Hmm, I don't think this is a good case for tasering. Does that make me a bad team member? |

But, um, I'm askeered of Mila. Now what? More tasering, I suppose. Have you noticed that we're all askeered of Mila? And yes, additional tasering is probably a good assumption.... Yes, yes I have. I don't tell her, but I'm actually not 'skeered of her. But I didn't think admitting that would be smart. I will just wave my camo-colored taser around and say, "HA! AH-HA!!!!" very loudly. |

I will offer your choice of tasering, spanking, prodding, whipping, or picture-taking. Hm. 4:44 AM? Cat - you're elected. That should be around 6 PM your time. Feel free to use those tasers, cattle prods, whips and cameras. I was thinking Cat should stop working out so much and come post-pad with me. I mean, which victory are we going for here, anyway?? |

There is a five minute stretch were there is very liberal use of a taser. Taser in the bathroom. Taser in the living room. Taser all over the place! It should be our theme movie! |

I played tennis and fell in the second set and twisted my knee. Will be taking it easy for the rest of the weekend to makesure everything is alright. Hubby is already threatening to take me to the hospital. I told him nothing they could do. Last time they took one xray, said I needed an MRI and to go home and see my doctor to get that set up. So, what good was it to have gone in? So, I'm now all for waiting to go and see the doc rather than the emergency room. I'm still able to walk so I think I will be okay in the long run. Icky, icky, icky-poo. This is turning into quite the limping band of tasering fools, is it not? Speedy wishes for a slow recovery. Um, no, wait....huh? Get well soon, and all that. |

Nothing says recovery like free tequila! They even had the man that delivered said machines on hand to make sure they continued to work properly and to make sure they continued to be full. We also had our own team massage therapist so no long lines for massage. Gotta love it! I am joining your team. I don't even have a (road) bike. I don't care. Edited by Slugger 2008-09-15 2:14 AM |
