I went ahead and updated the spreadsheet for Week 1 based on what everyone logged. You may want to take a moment to be sure I captured it accurately, but if all is correct, we are off to an incredible start! We're over 20% as a team with only 13% of the month complete (as of end of Week 1). Nice work!

Unplanned TOPPAGE! That's the BEST!

We've got tickets to see Avenue Q and I think we've got Rockerfeller Center and the Bodies exhibit on the agenda as well.

I'm almost certain that the sister-in-law and her husband will be hanging out with us.  They live in the city so should be able to keep us fairly entertained.  I was just kind of curious if there were any "special event" type things going on that I should request to see.

Really, all I want to do is eat.  That's my favorite vacation activity.  I'd be happy to wander the streets and stop at a restaurant every once in awhile.  I'm pretty easy.

Try to get out of midtown (where the theaters and Rockefeller are) for restaurants. You won't find the really good ones there, you'll find them in the neighborhoods where people actually live. I'm sure the SIL and hubby will know where to go. NYC is a lot of fun to visit.

I'll see if there are any big events going on this weekend. I'm not sure, I'm heading to the midwest to jockstrap at the Chicago Marathon!

Nice!  Maybe we'll pass each other in the air!  Chicago is a lot of fun.  You won't lack for things to do once the marathon is over.

So I signed up for a 5k called Sceam Scram.  It's 5 days after the Marathon.  Looks like it should be a blast.

Did you stillswim/cycle etc or was it 5 weeks of laziness? You are meant to have an off season remember!

Laziness.  I put on some weight I didn't want, but there was a lot of junk food too.  I will get an off season another day.  I have the Arizona Half Marathon in Jan, and possibly a Full Marathon planned for Apr, May, and Sept.
