So whats on tap today for everyone?  I planning on doing 30+ min on the treadmill later.  I'm up to doing 10walk/20run.  Right now I've broken the run time into 4 min intervals with walkin eqaully spaced inbetween.  Now that run time is really starting to overtake walk time should I keep trying to even insert walking mins or should I start grouping longer run intervals together and have longer walk intervals between?  Does that make any sense?

Hey Travis, or anyone who has a better memory than me

Are there any penalties associated with this challange?  What I mean to say is that when we win this thing are the other teams going to have to do anything? LaughingTongue out

tlnewman30 - 2008-11-06 1:47 PM Clear alcohol kicks my butt everytime.  Dark alcohol I can stomach for awhile.

Really? Vodka is teh ONLY form of alcohol where Im not a glass and a half girl...

That's a lot of people, but for some reason, I can drink more bicardi 151 than any clear alcohol.  Johnny Walker and I have been known to have very long conversations.  Jack Daniels is right up there in that group as well.

I'm also a dark alcohol drinker. Bourbon, usually Maker's Mark. Yum. I drink it on the rocks mostly ....

... in the tub, on the toilet, on the train, in a glass, in a paper cup, while running, walking, sitting, sleeping.....

LOL! I try to refrain while on the toilet or sleeping, but the others are true. I know, I'm a horrible triathlete.

LazyMarathoner - 2008-11-05 10:28 PM I might do something unheard of for me and go to bed at a decent hour.

Define "decent".

Bottompage!

I wouldn't know decent if it hit me in the head

I'm planning my first post-mary run. It's always so depressing to go from 26.2 to barely being able to cover 4 miles. We'll see how it goes.

I can't help you with the intervals, I've never tried it so I don't know how it all works.

One thing as a reminder, if some of us team members feel that they can't get their workout in, break up that workout.  Instead of a full, commtted 30 minutes, do 15 minutes in the morning, lunch, etc. and then 15 min. later, or whatever way you can break it up.  It'll make you less stressed.

I've been so freakin' lazy today it's not even funny. I'm swimming tonight though, that will be nice. I haven't been for over 3 weeks.

Then I'm meeting a BTer for drinks later. It's always nice to meet a BTer in life.

It's even nicer when you can do it over drinks.

Oooh that sounds like a great night.. are you taking the blackberry?

Now come on, I'm not always on the blackberry. It's just nice to be able to browse the web, send drunken texts and such I won't sit and post while I'm having drinks with someone I've just met. Sheesh.

I'll wait until she goes to the bathroom...

So drunken posts later?

Edited to say: "Beth says TOPPAGE" (except this time Beth didnt have to do it for me)

ROTFLMAO!!!

Maybe it should have said Cat says TOPPAGE!

I've always wanted to try kettlebell. It looks really cool. But with my jacked up shoulder now I'm going to have to wait a long time. My arm would probably dislocate and fly right off.

It counts. You just have to move 30 minutes a day. I did two 10 minute walks the other day and a 15 minute stretching session. I worked late and could barely move from the mary so it's all I could do.
