The brain tries to make words from the conglomeration of letters in screen names. Those things drive me absolutely crazy and I have to try very hard to read them. I read words as shapes. That's how I can take in whole pages at a time and tell you exactly which words are misspelled or out of place. Then how about this one?
Well I can read every 'word' of that. Not because I think I have a powerful mind but more likely because I grew up in a generation of shorthand crappy text messages. Yeah texting certainly has done a number to the English language. It still works fairly well for me because the shapes are much the same. |

Speaking of saying names wrong it's ok people get mine wrong because it's Korean but some people read it as big apple.... really? Ha! Do you know how many times I've had my name pronounced "Albino" or "el bano" (add tilde to the n) I'd love to respond to many of the chatterings and such on the TAN but BT is running like a snail on my computer and taking over a minute every time I click something. Makes for a most frustrating experience. So HI! Will it make it better if we just type sllloooowwwly? I am now obsessively counting how long it takes to change between screens. It's too long. Too long. What's the count currently at? |
