I'm a fan of your basic chocolate chip cookie, they have to be soft though, not so much of a fan of the crunchy ones.

PB cookies are good, too, especially with the Hershey's Kiss in the middle of them.

Has anyone ever heard of or had potato candy? My dad makes it. It involves a boiled potato all smushed up, lots of 10x sugar and peanut butter, I think maybe a little vanilla, too.

I will have you know that I make the second best chocolate chip cookies this side of the Mississippi. My SIL's BFF makes the best.

Did Stacie just hit on me?

I have made my chocolate chip cookies for other people at their request. I have also been known to throw some Macademia nuts into them as well.  I'm looking forward to baking cookies for the holidays.

If you guys PM me addresses I will try to get you out some so you can judge for yourselves. That just gives my daughter and I more of a reason to bake.

instead of 1/2 cup sugar use 1/4 cup of honey only (don't add the other 1/4 of sugar)

use whole wheat flower instead of white flour

Throw some oats in there as well

They burn a little easier but they are very tasty and somewhat good for you.  I still have not figured out what to do instead of brown sugar (someone mentioned molasses but I have no experience with that)

Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

LOL.  my post come across like that didnt it?  hee!

its just i could say im the SECOND BEST in a few areas of my life, but BAKING CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES isnt one of em.
