okay, I'm putting the energy bars away.  I think that 3 is sufficient for one sitting.

mchally - 2010-03-22 2:26 PM So I was transplanting a bunch of shrubs yesterday and, as usual, I managed to have an accident.  I was moving one shrub to a hole I had dug right next to it and as soon as I got it out of it's current hole I tumbled back into the new hole.  Slick.  The new hole was near a tree and I had cut through several good sized roots...I landed on the stubs of a severed root.  It hurt terribly.  I now have a deep red and purple bruise located between my right hip and lower spine just above my right glute.  the whole area is super sore.

I am so talented in the incurring of odd injuries department.

Ouch - that sounds like a swearing type incident!
More of a rolling on the ground and moaning incident...I must have landed just right to hurt that badly...I think that I might have gotten some sort of nerve, because the whole right side of my back felt terrible for hours.

That does not sound like fun at all!  Hope you heal up.

Did you find your carbon water bottle holders yet?  I luv that idea!  Too cool!
Not yet, although I did look when I visited the bike shop the other day.  I need to get a new pump as well and am considering the carbon fiber mini pump...not that it is really any lighter than some of the others, but just to keep with my accessorizing trend.

My sister has one - I helped her put it on - pretty cool idea - I think you should do it!!!!
The only impediment is $$$.  I have to pay for school this year as well as my ambitious race schedule.  I would like to start saving up for my new bike as well.

Not at all - all in good fun!  Plus we are romping on those smelly bEASTies!
Yes, a bit of banter doesn't hurt as long as all parties realize that it is meant to be in fun.

Yes - but if you buy it now - less than you have to buy when you get the CF bike
no carbon fiber bike for me...the frame is going to be laminated wood...but the fork and handle bars and seat stem will probably be carbon fiber.

Cool - sounds like an awesome bike!  Do you have a link for the manufacturer?

This frame weighs less than 5 lbs, a bit more than carbon fiber, but it is far more durable... with a better fatigue life than steel or aluminum.

Yes - I should probably stop streaming the music - IT is going to get mad!

I had to stop streaming in the office.  It was affecting the call center.  The online games the network guys were playing didn't help much either. They still play their games though.
