Yes, I think having both a number of stages and an overall time/distance goal is nice. (Otherwise, everyone could just ride 15 min each day, and hit 100% -- even though they may not have really challenged themselves.) Are you going to have a penalty for the losing teams? Or reward for the winning team(s)? (I still like the Lanterne Rouge idea! LOL) Oh and Im thinking of running hte challenge like this: 1) You commit to the number of stages (minimum 15 minutes) AND... 2) You commit to either a distance or time goal as well Each goal counts for 50% of your overall achievement for the month... any thoughts? Ummm I did the 21 stage goal last year and basically rode 15 minutes each day.... it worked well for me (especially when I got really sick!) |

I just did stages last year... which made it really simple but a lot of people were saying they would like something more challenging.... Maybe I can do something like the '21 club' or something for people who want to ride every day.... longest ride, most climbs or something... not sure... Like mini competitions inside the challenge? |

I like it like that.... use the same spreadsheet to set up teams etc and I want to keep those secret until Im ready otherwise i fear I will get WAY too many team requests... there will be two types of team requests... people and pro racing teams... thats what happened last year so I know how to handle it this time |
