Thought you might be interested in a position at the White House? Romney: Absolutely, how can I server? Trump (Rogillio): The WH 2nd gardener has resigned. I'd like for you to step in. In a few years maybe you can make 1st Gardener. Seriously though.....not sure where he would fit.....maybe he could head up the Obamacare Remove and Replace. He seemed real proud of the MA plane he got passed. That's what I keep thinking every time I see the headline that Trump is considering Cruz as his AG. The man questioned if your father helped assassinate JFK and made fun of your wife's appearance, and you're going to work with him? Wtf? Trump is from NYC and knows to 'keep your fiends close and keep your enemies closer'. |

Don't forget, the press is camped out at Trump tower speculating based on every person that shows up for an appointment. Romney could be there to give him a handy and tell him he's sorry for all we know. I reserve my judgement until each person is actually nominated for something.

Is that cause Trump's teeny-tiny hands are not big enough to do the job himself? |

Champion 10157 Alabama | Subject: RE: Election 2016 The terms racist, bigot, homophobe, misogynist, xenophobe have been over used and misused so much that the are almost meaningless. We use them to label anyone that does not share our view of the world in an attempt to silence them. If I tell a dirty joke that makes me a misogynist. If I tell as racial joke, that makes me a racist. If my religious beliefs don't condone homosexually that makes me a homophobe. If I think we should do a better job of screening Muslims coming into the US from the middle east that makes me a xenophobe. If opine on any of these items and it does not align with the liberal paradigm then I am a bigot. But I think maybe we reached a tipping point where people don't care any more what you label them. The left called Trump supports deplorable and said if you voted for Trump you were a racists or bigots or homophobes or misogynists or xenophobes and IT DID NOT MATTER! People voted for him anyway. The thing is, people are realizing it doesn't matter what they do, it is never enough. No matter how tolerant they try to be it is NEVER enough. I read this the other day on FB and really like it: I discriminate. The entire human race are neither my brothers nor kin. There is nothing noble about non-discrimination—concepts such as love, trust and brotherhood lose all meaning when discrimination is removed. Sorry, bleeding hearts—love does not exist without discrimination. The person who "loves everyone" actually loves no one. Imagine if I loved everyone as much as I loved my wife...this is a ridiculous notion—I love, honor and would lay down my life defending my wife before any other human on Earth precisely because I discriminate. Similarly, I strive to fill my inner circle with people who are strong, noble of character and wise because I discriminate. If you choose the company of weaklings, cowards and fools in your court, don't be surprised when your castle is laid waste. We build our homes on strong foundations because we discriminate; we craft weapons from the strongest steel because we discriminate. Non-discrimination is weakness incarnate—a lie that is repeated again and again in hopes that mindless repetition will make it true. In future times, humans who are not my brethren will compete for resources, wealth and power with myself, my children, my family, my tribe, and my nation; and, as has always been nature's way, those most suited to rule will do so. Those suited to serve will fall into their places as well...as they always have. Computers, political trends, communication, education, and improving technology will never change this simple facet of existence; natural hierarchy is an axiom upon which all life on Earth evolved over millions of years. All human servant revolts have, time and time again, resulted in more masters and more slaves. I discriminate to give myself, my family, and (when my wife and I have children,) my progeny the best chance at being dominant rather than subservient in the unknowable future; and this is all common sense: you don’t encourage your children to hang out with unmotivated, drug addicted, or delinquent peers—you teach them to discriminate early on in life to improve their chances at being successful—of being dominant. You teach them to not trust strangers; in effect, to discriminate against the entire world of people who they don't know. Trust is earned, not simply given. "Something given has no value." - Robert Heinlein Often, it appears to me that we are encouraged (by mass media, political movements, government and particular religious institutions) to abandon our common sense and the accrued wisdom of the ages...to instead give our loyalty pursuant to their agendas. These are false cults, designed only to strip power, liberty and wealth away from family, kin, tribe, folk, and ultimately, from you. There is only one reason why anyone would encourage us to weaken our communities and tribal bonds, and it isn't to make us more powerful, wealthy, safe or happy. |

You know as well as I do that in this context, it's a discussion about "discriminating based on race or gender", not "a discriminating connoisseur of fine wines". Everyone discriminates. If you are driving alone at night out in the country and you see an three 80 year old woman on the side of the road you would probably stop. Replace the old woman with black gang-bangers and tell me you would stop to offer help? You are sitting on an airplane and this blond hair, blue eye Norwegian goes to the restroom and spend a very long time there. Are you concerned? Replace her with a 30 year old Arab man and tell he you are equally unconcerned. Someone knocks on your door late at night and you look out and see two teenage white girls, do you open the door? Replace them with two teenage black guys. OK, on an unrelated note...but an interesting question. A man has 3 female assistants. He decides he can no longer afford 3 assistant and needs to fire 2 of them. So he intentionally overpays each of them $100. #1 comes back the same day and says she was over-paid and returns the $100 #2 comes back a few weeks later and said she never even looked at her check but when her bank statement came in she realized the mistake and gave him back the $100 #3 comes back 3 months later and says he over paid him $100 and she invested in some penny stocks and tripled his money and give him $300. So which assistant did he keep? |

I hear that a lot. Let me ask you, is it possible it will never stop? We are dealing with imperfect human being. For 2,000 years Christians have been preaching 'love one another'. Admirable goal but we (as a whole) still fall way short. What if we have reached a point in our society where people just refuse to change any more? My advise to woman and black and gays and Muslims and anyone else who feel oppressed, go out there and succeed anyway despite the odds. The victory will be all the more sweeter. The alternative is to live your life as a victim always blaming someone else. Jews have been persecuted for centuries....but you won't find many of them living in poverty blaming others. |

Race is race and this kind of behavior needs to be squelched from the top down as unacceptable divisive racism. no one is doing that Tony, what they are trying to teach is that our systemic racism needs to stop. But they are doing it, and how does being racist teach one that racism needs to stop? White people would beat up and murder black people and they would justify it because they were different. Now, we have black people beating up and murdering white people because they are different. It's the same hate and bigotry no matter what a persons skin color is and there's no justification for it. Seriously, try walking into an AA neighborhood with a Trump hat on and see what happens to you. This is the divided America that has been fostered and encouraged by Obama and his followers. |

You know as well as I do that in this context, it's a discussion about "discriminating based on race or gender", not "a discriminating connoisseur of fine wines". and this is why we have a racism problem in our country. No, having political leaders and people in power that label and divide us is the reason we continue to have racism in this country. People make up their own minds on this stuff, regardless of who's currently running the government. Some of it is learned. A lot of it is just ingrained. Brown v. Board of Education wasn't really *that* long ago and we still have a generation that was around before that. I would find it hard to point the finger at any one thing or individual. I hear you, but I guess my point is that our leaders are out there stoking the fires of racism versus trying to put it out. Race is race and this kind of behavior needs to be squelched from the top down as unacceptable divisive racism. The most important thing we can do is put ourselves in someone else's shoes. I'm white, I don't have a real concept of the fear a black person might have of getting pulled over -- or of their child getting pulled over. Empathy is what I'm getting at, I guess. Empathy is good, and we should all strive to make the world a better place. We all have our challenges that we have to overcome and they're all different. I was homeless and then upgraded to a nasty trailer park through high school which wasn't much better. I was ridiculed, bullied, and mocked throughout my childhood and I'd put that up against any inner city kid today. I was surrounded by negativity and hate, but I chose to ignore it and became successful anyways. So many people teach black kids that they cannot be successful because they're black and then they're surprised when so many black kids don't end up being successful. We have to stop with the division and stereotypes if we are ever going to get past racism. As long as we continue to treat people different based on their race then nothing will change. |
