It was awesome.  The weather was perfect.  I don't have much as far as pics go-I forgot to grab the lithium ion batteries and regular batteries don't care for the cold.  I got about 3 pictures before my camera gave up on me.

The GP and her supervising doc think I either have one of 3:

1) a ligament tear

2) a hamstring tear

3) a bike/cleat fit issue

I have an appt. scheduled for Wed to deal with bike fit issues. But if its the other, my running days may be over Frown

Hey Scott! How'd it happen? On the bike or running?

Actually, I think I popped it while eating pizza, to be completely honest. Embarassed

that must have been one helluva pizza!

It was a rather good one I must say.

That said, I just picked up a pair of Superfeets from REI; Bowen is supposedly the miracle fit guy at City Bicycle Works and I have an appt. at 1:00 on Wed for him to see what he can do with my cleats and hopefully cure this minor leg problem so I can run - if I want to.

My friends wife dislocated her shoulder about three weeks ago while eating pizza

The horny melons seem to come across a lot of pizza related injuries.

As much as I would like to linger, I am going to head to bed.  I am hoping to manage eight hours of sleep tonight-and not be late for school in the morning.

Have a great night and a great Tuesday Nibblets.  I'll see y'all later.

That reminds me-I use 'y'all' a lot, both in person and online.  I am now sitting next to a gal from Texas-My 'y'all' is definitely inferior to the real thing.

I have tried to make a habit of it.  I wouldn't want to have to take care of the 'boys' if we were stuck on the mountain for the night.  I was prepared, but it would have been a stretch if I had to share my 'essentials.'  Although, if we weren't freezing, it would be quite cozy.  I had one large space blanket and one large 'contractor' trash bag.  I also had a handful of hotties(they are really heavy) and plenty of food.  If we made it into the shelter of the woods I would also have managed a fire-although it would be illegal.

and when you get up it will be an open wound again, which will make your morning shower lots of fun.

When I have raw wounds I slather them with A&D ointment before showering.

I guess having big hotties to carry around could lead to back problems.

I have a question-do seattlites/washingtonians have a noticeable accent. And can people tell when they have an accent, or does everyone else sound funny to them.

My pack was similar in size to the guys-maybe smaller.  Yet it weighed significantly more than theirs did.  They were fairly slow-but most people fall behind when I'm hiking.
