Hi Peeps!! My time is almost up...wooohoooo!! Friday I ought to get released from the doc! Indeed, Peggy, Wilson, Hilde and anyone else who has lost a significant amount of weight knows what a RELIEF it is not to be carrying that extra person, or half a person around on ones body anymore!!

I just figured out that in order for me to NOT have fewer running miles this year than last I need to run 226 miles by the end of the year!! At first I though - NO WAY!! Then, the thought came that before the pain in my foot I was easily logging 75 miles a month...It just might be possible!! I am going to make it my GOAL!! Rather than a New Year's "Resolution", I am going to say that my goal is to surpass last years run total by Dec 31, 2011!!!!  100 miles in the remainder of November then the 126 minimum by the last day of December.....Whatcha say homies?!!  

If you BEG....I miiiiiight share!! LMAO

The next was June 2008....4 months post- 7th baby!!

Please don't laugh @ the bathing suit photo!! LMAO That was taken 1 yr and 1 month after baby..so March 2009. 

I really haven't changed since THEN!! Grrrr

You are fighting with FIRE there Mr. Joe!!!!  Why would anyone WANT to put up with this crap???  If I knew then what I know now...... I wouldn't be teaching that's for sure.  Kids are NOT cute!!

Amen, sistah-- and I have TOTAL respect for ye who teach said youngsters! Heck, I teach those who are supposedly 'adults,' and that's enough of a nightmare for me!

Way to be positive abt some time off -- that'll all happen before we know it.  I just realized today that I get an extra week of vacation in 2012 -- 5 weeks baby!!

Joe you are a brave man to be challenging the teachers on here -- they will gang up on you and kick your a$$!!!  and I'm gonna laugh watching -- insert devilish laugh here!!

Thats a lot of running to do after surgery!!!  I love the determination but don't hurt yourself.  I'm gonna try to beat all my 2010 totals too....but for the run I'm pretty close even tho i was compromised lots of this season......stay healthy!

Howdy, y'all! I'm back in the country, yesterday was a 24-hour travel day, so I'm still playing catch-up. Filling in logs now, and will get to inspires tomorrow. The vacay with mom was, well, an experience. Stand-by travel isn't really all that fun when you just want to get home and the flights are full!

I took my Garmin just to see if it would track me running on the cruise ship. Satellite reception was in & out, plus when we were at sea, the boat's movement interfered, but just for kicks, here are my tracks (the first was at sea and the second was in port):

Oooh, Tammy Tucker, I never knew you were a little porker at one time!!  I still see myself like that, but somehow I can justify my extra 25 pounds by thinking I'm doing better and better at my sport.... lord knows what I COULD do if I lost those pounds!  I'll have to search for some photos this weekend...

I'm worried about poor Joe.  He knows that Hilde teaches in Texas and is, therefore, obligated by the state to paddle or beat several children each year right?

I just hope someone catches it and puts it on Youtube so I can enjoy it as well!  

Wow - wow - wow!  Those are some amazing before and after shots everyone!  I'm in the "just have a before shot" but you all have definitely inspired me to do more than think about exercise for a change.  

I'm so glad Hilde let me into this madness and I'm going to happily stay as long as you'll have me and if Wilson promises to keep telling me how fine my derriere will look in spandex someday.

OMG!!!  Congrats Hilde, that is an awesome run!!  I knew you could do it - you've worked hard for it and I'm glad to see the hard work pay off big time!!!!
