I'm also making chicken alfredo for dinner. It is also taper food. I should taper more often.  LOL! Taper food is good! actually I found a really good recipe for low fat alfredo sauce  I tried Beth's recipe.... it was pretty good, though I added some oregano, pepper, garlic ooooh! good additions! I'll have to remember that |

It was a great weekend and we walked all over the place and, yes, my coat was perfect. I stayed nice and warm between my coat, long johns, scarf, gloves, etc. My nose was cold though. Kendra! Believe it or not, your body acclimatizes. This is the toughest part of the year. We had 70 degree weather just last week, and the highs are only in the upper 30s this week. That's a 40 degree drop. I'm still a little whiny about it. But like I said, your body adapts. Soon I'll be out running in 15 degree weather. By March, we'll be walking around in shorts and a T-shirt once it breaks freezing! Bummer I couldn't get together with you this weekend. It was rough. Volunteer work on Friday and Saturday. Had prior commitments with my wife on Saturday night. Church responsibilities on Sunday morning and friends from out of town in on Sunday night. I shoulda just come up there and got you and drug you down... |

We walked Loring Park (which is near where she lives) and the Sculpter Garden, then down Nicolette to Washington and had dinner at a Thai place called SAWARDEE. It was very nice. The next day we walked across the Stone Arch bridge and went to the Guthrie Theatre and saw "A View From the Bridge". It was very well done. I actually had tears at the end. Then Yesterday we walked to a couple of the lakes. I can't remember their names and they aren't on the map I have in front of me. Oh well. It was fun with the snow flurries, but I am glad the sun came out in the afternoon so I could see Minneapolis in the sun. |

This week, it's time to join the ducks and geese - and fly south for the winter. (Can you tell that I really don't like cold weather? LOL) Acclimatizes, yeah, I moved south and I have totally acclimatized to the south. Easier this way than adjusting to the north. Also fun to do tennis, biking, etc all year outside. |

Fly North in the summer and south in the summer, although where you are you might want to do the opposite. |
