Got a nice swim in this morning, snarfed down a couple frozen waffels, now off to work. Having dinner with a former boss tonight. Looking forward to seeing him and catching up. I'm hungry, waffles sound good right now. In college we used to pour chocolate syrup on them. YUM! I'm a big fan of topping them with Peanut Butter and syrup. nom nom nom... Maybe PB, but I am not a fan of syrup. When I make pancakes, which isn't very often, I put chocolate chips in them then top them with confectioners sugar. No syrup for me. |

What happened to all the ghoulies? Can't speak for the rest, but this one got shillacked at work again this afternoon. This is becoming an unfortunate trend... Unfortunate indeed. I've had a rough couple of weeks too. Really looking forward to having all of next week off. Enjoy the time off Neal. It sounds like you've definitely earned it. I've gotta work Mon thru Wed next week, but then I get 4 days off. I'll be heading to my sister's new place in AZ with the family so that should be fun. Is anyone else doing some traveling for Thanksgiving? You guys enjoy your time off. I'm only off on Thursday and we'll be staying close to home. Going to my parents for dinner, they're only 9 miles away. So... you've gotta work every day next week except Friday? What kind of bologna is that? I think you should call in on Friday and say that your Turkey gave you bird flu. Noone should have to work after that much triptophan. Just saying... |

I like the chocoloate chips idea - reminds me of getting chocolate chip pancakes at Perkin's when I was a kid! But no syrup??? I bet I could convert you... I don't know. Do you know how to make sugary and sticky enjoyable? It's all about measured quantities and presentation. If it's the sugariness of it that's a turn off then there may be nothing you can do, but since you like chocolate chips on your pancakes I think we could make it work... Was that not a good setup? I thought you might be able to make a little more out of it. Anyway... I used to eat syrup on my pancakes all the time. Somehow I got away from it and just haven't gone back. |

I just decided not to go there because that slope would get really slippery, really fast Then again, slippery can be a lot of fun too.... Edited by iowagander 2009-11-19 12:07 PM |

Champion 6225![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Subject: RE: Ghoulie eliptical v ST November challengebut then again. im not much of a coffee drinker. i can take or leave it. caffeine makes me whackinthehead. so i try and steer clear. i dont like the feeling you get. all jittery and mentally discombobulated. the Signature im sure has caffeine in it, but it doesnt seem to have the same effect that coffee does. |

Champion 6225![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Subject: RE: Ghoulie eliptical v ST November challengethe stuffing looks kinda of funny. a) i dont think i cut the bread into small enough pieces and b) it cooks different when its cooked encased in a turkey. i didnt have a turkey cavity to stuff my stuffing in. :} though i will come T-Day.
