pdbman - 2010-04-28 7:18 AM Wow. I was the last one to post last night and the first one this morning.  What's up with that?

You are up early Paul???????

You stole my first post of the day - thanks a lot

I was a little late getting into the thread because I rode further this morning than usual and then had to refuel

Finished up my project and user testing and approval finished so this morning I got to move it into production, which takes place at 7:05 eastern time. Good thing I can do this from home. Getting up so I could be in the office and online at that time is not fun.
Sorry about stealing the first post. When I saw I was the last post, I couldn't resist being the first.

Good morning all... no morning workout today... off to the pool at lunch for a light swim.  I'm considering doing a bike commute to/from work one of these days.  It's about 17 miles each way.  The roads are wicked busy, so I'm a little hesitant.  We'll see.  Have a great day, A-team!!!

The rain has started. For Tim, it was only a couple of days. Our forecast is calling for it through Sunday.

I'll see what I can do to make up for your not having a morning workout Bill. I am hitting the gym at lunch for a swim and some strength training. I finish up early today (2pm) so I should be able to squeeze in a run and bike ride too. It will be a little wet though. I have a lot of workouts to catch up on for the month.

Unrelated question:
If my son has a full scholarship, why does he (I) have to pay a "deposit" to save his place at the school? I understand they want to see that he is committed to go to the school but will he (I) get the money back at some point in the future or should this "deposit" really be called a "fee"? We have already paid other fees (housing etc) that shows he is committed to go there so why this other "deposit"?

Keep it south of Buffalo please

It will head out over Denver and then die out over the midwest. You don't have anything to worry about.

Looking at some bike stuff online. Don't know why I am torturing myself. There won't be any money available until after I get my son off to school this fall. Something tells me there won't be a lot around even after that.

Think of it like a Tax Refund maybe?

I don't have college age kids yet - you must be older than me - LOL - but keep me posted so I know what to expect in 4 years - yikes!

I shouldn't complain about a deposit. Its nothing compared to the application fees we shelled out over the past 6 months or so.

Good morning A-Team!

I ended up skipping my swim yesterday Frown  I didn't get off work until about 7 (first day back at work after taking a 4 day weekend = lots of stuff to do!) and didn't get home until close to 8.  By then I was tired and hungry so I just had dinner and went to bed.

I was able to get a good hour in on the trainer this morning, though!  I'm supposed to lift tonight with my lifting buddy as well, though that won't count in any of my challenge goals.

Okay, team, I got a 6-mile run in the wind and snow this morning, but it was a perfect temp.

Now I am leaving for Wyoming (5-hr drive to my sister's house). I'm hoping to get a run tomorrow and on Friday. Driving back Friday. I'll be checking in from my mom's computer while I'm there.

Happy Hump Day!

Please drive carefully. Driving for 5 hours in the snow does not sound like fun.

It's been quite a while since I made it to the gym, but today class is being dismissed early to go do some work on our individual off-site projects.  I can't do mine today because of some scheduling issues with my 'client' so I will head to the gym to get some serious workouts in before my dentist appointment this afternoon.

I'm thinking about 5000 yards in the pool, a bit of time on the treadmill and a core workout...it will make a fairly good impact on reaching my goals this month.   The BF has been a bit of a distraction from training.  He has been to the gym a lot less lately too.  We both have Y memberships so I think that we should make some trips to the gym together.

I don't know what to say...I never went to a school of that sort and am not familiar with how their scholarships work.     The Universities are sure expensive though...

I stayed way to late at my boyfriend's place last night and ended up crashing there in the spare room.  I woke up abruptly at 5am thinking that I must be suffering from a major hot flash...I then realized that they probably had the heat set to turn on then...they did.  I had to ditch all the blankets and take off a layer before I could fall back asleep.  I woke with the sunshine and soon was greeted by a flurry of kisses...from Lola and Rico, the two little havanese cuties.  It was lovely to have breakfast made for me and a kiss before heading to school.

yes you should - tell him the A Team said so
OK, will do.  Should I tell him that they will kick his butt if we don't get some workouts in???
