Day 541, 11 miles, day 542, 10 miles, day 543 20.5 miles. I was out of town this weekend with the Mustang club for a weekend of drag racing and drinking, lots of drinking. I got in 92 miles this week and now I am going to taper for 3 weeks for my upcoming Ann Arbor marathon on the 9th of June.

Whew - got through the golf weekend, and hoping Left Brain will let me stay on the team!

2.5 miles early Friday morning. 20 minutes of hill work with a couple buddies on Saturday morning. We were at a golf/ski resort and we were trying to run the ski slopes. That was absolute murder on my lungs / legs / pride! Knocked out about 2.2 miles this evening to get the streak up to 44 days.

Nice job keeping the streak alive!

#252 for me....2.2 miles after a 4 am wake up just to keep it going, a day spent watching my son race, and crab legs, corn on the cob, and fried potatoes for my twin's birthday....the rest of the workout can wait till tomorrow!!

Haha...I didn't say I like golf, nor am I any good at it (there's a reason I swim, bike, and well, run...). But my Spartans in the B10? Oh yes.

Nice job on the workout, and better job on the celebration!

I think you're supposed to get props if you plan something, work on it, and then see it through............uh......in my case..........things just kept piling up and now it's just survival. I guess I get props for diving on the grenade.

4:16, on a warm day. Although it wasn't a PR, it is the fastest I have done since returning to marathons back in 2010.

Great job and yes it was warm yesterday. I hope the Green Bay marathon will work into my schedule next year.

45 - and proof that my mind was elsewhere. I was crunched for time, trying to get in both a quick swim and a run at my gym. Got caught in traffic on the way there, walked in much later than intended. Changed clothes, grabbed my shoes - only to notice that my custom orthotics were not in them, and not in my bag. I had changed out of work clothes before leaving for the gym and into shorts and some sandals. So...nice run with no orthotics or even the stock insoles, just the natural inside of the shoe. Not the most comfortable, but not as bad as I thought it would be. 2 miles of hill work on the treadmill.

Day 545, 10.1 miles with 5 1/2 mile intervals in the middle. Very hot and humid today but still managed my fastest intervals to date.

Day 46 - OWS and then 2 mile run with another triathlete. She beat my butt in the run, but it was great to have someone to chase...it kept me moving better than I otherwise would have!

#10, 2 and there's no way I would have run today if it weren't for this challenge. I lost my entire monkey toenail to a computer cart incident today and I felt it every single step of those 2 miles. Lol...woe is me;)

Tried this back in the fall and had to bail on day twenty-something when I got derailed by a family emergency. So here's attempt #2, shooting for 6 weeks straight leading up to my first race at the end of June. After that, we'll see where it goes - I'm sure the dog won't object if we keep it going.

Day #5.

#213

Today was 5.5 mile run, then 4 hour trainer (no choice!!). Would have liked to ride then run, but had to run first since I had to be back at the house.

The warmth, humidity, and my lack of being acclimated to the weather has me sweating buckets. And I guess with the lack of being of acclimated I've got a higher salt content in my sweat, the last few days I've gotten some wicked nipple chafing. I feel like I've been wearing shirts made of 220 grit sandpaper.
