Well...  It is official.  I am a triathlete!  I did a reverse mini this morning.  It wasn't pretty, but I finished.

I had a pretty bad tightening in my right quad during the run and it got worse during the bike.

They called this a "Tune-up Tri" and it is just that.  I need to add some intervals in my biking, the course was flat but the tiny hills kicked my butt.  My swimming needs a lot of work.

I run this same tri only in correct order in June.  It should be a good progress report.  I'll post my times when they show up on the website.

Hey Tad!  Congrats on the tri!  Nice job.  Don't let the swim get you down.  I still struggle there on race day!

Hey guys!  It looks like Ken and I have a real dog fight going this month.  If i see things right (and I have been known to be wrong) going into the final day of the month I am up 5 minutes on the run and 800 yds on the swim.  I'll have to conseed the bike as we are to get a couple of inches of rain tomorrow and I am over 50 miles down.  Let's see what the last day brings!

Gentlemen
What are your goals for the month? Who won the monthly competition in swim/bike/run? While my postings have been inconsistent I continue to work out regularly...plugging along...not breaking any speed or distance records but doing my time. Enjoy the warmer temps! Lisa

My goals for May will be:

Hello Gents...well a week from today I'll will be doing my Sprint triathlon...any pointers or words of wisdom? I had a question...do you all eat those power gels or energy bars at the Sprint distance? Any advice would be appreciated. Hope everyone's season is going well. Lisa
