Sounds like everyone had a good weekend.  I've got 6 of my 9 stages in the book.  I'm hoping the weather behaves this week so I can get the remaining 3 stages done in the open air instead of the trainer.

I had a race on saturday so one of my completed stages was in "competition mode".  I tried to channel Tour de France mojo to go fast on the bike!  Anyone else race over the weekend?

Just knocked out stage 8. It was a short 6 mile ride due to lack of time, but I needed to make sure to get a stage in today. I'm at 63% of my goal. I still have to push it, but I don't want to let any of you down.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Stage 13 will be completed today when I commute home.  For those of you keeping track, that means I have been at work since 7 am yesterday.  So it has been a long day, but that is ok.  Once completed I will have 2 stages left with approx 60min of riding remaining.  Should be a cake walk from here on out since I have a race on the last day of the challenge.  Hope everyone else is seeing the light at the end of the tunnle.

Nice ride!  Congrats on meeting your goal.

I managed to get in stage 7 today.  Only 2 more stages to go.  All I have to do is stick to my training plan and I should meet my time goal no problem.  Go Team Quickstep!

I'm a little concerned about meeting my goal. I have been sick the past couple of days. From what I undertsand it's from increasing my training too much and not getting enough protein. I am feeling better now, but I have a tri on Saturday. I don't want to let you down so I am going to see what I can do and still try to be fresh for Saturday's tri.

Ok so stage 14 is done.  I only have one stage left, and I will finish that on the last day of the challenge since I have a race that day as well.  I hope everybody else is having as much success as I have found.

Hi Guys. Only got a few hours of stay of execution from the hospital & I've ended up here. Had a massive accident during last Sunday's challenge ride. Met the wheelarch of an enormous milk tanker lorry whilst we were going in opposite directions around a corner. Knocked unconcious, helicoptered to the nearest hospital, ended up in a coma in Intensive Care. Multiple fractures to face, to be operated on tomorrow, jaw broken in half, now fixed, could go on but it's too scary. Won't download the photo of my face Anyway, hope you are all doing well, don't think I will be out of hospital till Thurs/Fri. Go Quickstep, go.

Wow. I go out of town for one week and our leader goes down. I hope you heal quickly. I am sure the milk truck is much worse for the ware. If you wanted to get out of the challenge all you had to do was ask Tom. Get some rest and feel better.

Martin, I hope your bike faired out better than you did .  Seriously, I hope you're back in the saddle soon.

So, my name is Dee and I'm a Procrastinator.  21 days to do 10 stages. On day 20 I only have 5 done.  Dooohhhh...Well you gotta do what you gotta do.  I cranked out 3 stages today:  45 min on trainer this afternoon, 1 hr on mtn bike early this evening, followed by 20 more min on trainer.  That gives me 8 stages for 340 minutes.  Need 2 more stages and only 20 more minutes.  Will do trainer ride tomorrow morning before work and then something after work depending on the weather.  I will get it done tho.

The TdF Challenge will be over soon. So how are you going to stay motivated NEXT month? Interested in another challenge?

There is a "Casual Challenge" planned for August. You can set goals for RUNNING and/or SWIMMING and/or BIKING and/or OTHER (strength, yoga, etc) and/or WEIGHT LOSS. (You may sign up for ANY or ALL of these goals.)

There will be no teams (unless we get a lot of people signing up, then I'll split the group). It's just a friendly challenge to help people achieve their workout and weightloss goals.

Click below to read about the August challenge, or sign up for it:

Alright guys, once the results of my duathlon post I will get accurate number, but I got somewhere around 50 min for 14+miles to complete stage 15, and thus both my time and stage goal is complete.  Hope everyone else finishes strongly if you haven't done so already.

Hi Team,

Just a reminder this is the final day of the TDF challenge - I hope everyone has enjoyed themselves

There has been a little confusion over how the final results will be calculated so from the original thread with the challenge rules here are the details :

"The winning team will be determined by the overall % of goal amount of stages and % of distance/time achieved by the team. (each goal counts for 50% of your overall goal achieved)"

What this means is you cannot achieve more than 50% from with of your totals... I havent had any requests for clarification sent to me but i thought I better just remind everyone!

Results will be up in the next couple of days, so just make sure your team spreadsheet is up to date
