She has already called this am to say she will be here today! Swimming with the other team, I haven't swum with them in a long time, should be interesting. The two teams have to share pool time it gets ugly... I stay unassigned and in the middle. I can't wait for the YMCA!
There is sun somewhere? I keep seeing overcast with rain or snow (in January!)! I put in 1300 yards at lunch - Have a great weekend all! GO PACKERS!!!!
Oh no you didn't.
GO SEAHAWKS! |

What's everyone's weekend plans? WORK Hopeful to get at least 30min if not 45 min swim tomorrow. Depends how the b-ball games go. Lots of ref's callin gin for tomorrow. I think they're making up excuses to go ski/board (fresh snow falling right now) |

Getting ready to meet some 2-year county campus Network Admins for the 2-day meeting we're having. *yawn*. I have to finish up my presentation for tomorrow. I'll get a swim in today, but will be offline. Have fun all!!! Morning, Yep, Angels definitely has a better ring. Especially since we all look like this: (Well, the female members of the team look like this, anyway): |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II kns57 - 2008-01-10 2:05 PM Me, I did not get my swim in. Stupid radiologist kept me there over two hours and then I still had to wait for the phone call to give me the all clear. Totally messed up my morning. I told hubby that I have to swim on Saturday. He's going to want me to because I am now in a b... of a mood. Sorry to hear you missed your swim. Was this a routine checkup? |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Nette213 - 2008-01-10 6:50 PM I have been cleared by the ortho to resume my activities, with caution and very slowly. Achilles is still tender but he feels that I can work my way out of the boot and keep going. He was happy that I was swimming and with my flexibility in my ankle and calves. Yeah!!! As for physical therapy and the insurance company, that is still a nightmare and better left as is. Have a good evening everyone! Yay! Congratulations on getting the OK to resume your training, even if it is "cautiously." |

I don't recall putting in changes but they are there? Sorry, just not sure how this all works. Telepathy. Think really, really hard. And *poof* the spreadsheet updates. What? It didn't work for you. Hm. You must not be thinking hard enough. Try again. |

Get a swim in sometime during the weekend. 4. Work again. 5. Repeat numbers 1,2 and 4 endlessly. Yep. That about sums it up. I DO plan on getting a swim in though. Did one today. (Haven't updated the spreadsheet yet though.) |

You're at 34% of your swim goal. So you're on track to hit your target! Dee |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II OK Fish. It was a tough week for me -- but I'm on track to reach my swim goal again. If not for the challenge, I probably would have taken today off. I was feeling dizzy, which means I may be coming down with a sinus infection.... But I swam anyway, because I was starting to fall behind where I need to be.... And, I equaled a PB! Yes, the pool was spinning, but I equaled a PB. Go figure. LOL Came home, took a decongestant, and got online. I feel better now. Was it the decongestant... or being on BT? I'll let you decide.... LOL |

Master 1567 Kauai, Hawaii | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II kns57 - 2008-01-11 10:14 AM Whats with the swimming with the teams. At first I thought it was you swam while your kids were swimming on swim team, but now that I know they are 4 and you need a babysitter, I'm lost. please explain, thanks. The only time I can swim is when the swimteams are practicing. the pool is a high school pool with no free swim/lap swim times. The local gym pool is too short. The town pools are too far when you need to get a babysitter. My hubby doesn't usually get home in time. My kids are too small to swim and the other can't swim. There is the ocean and it is actually warmer than the pool. I prefer swimming in the pool, I feel like I get a better workout. Does that answer your questions. When I swim tonight I actually complete my goal, so it looks like I will be adding more! Most swimteams will take you on as a Master. It is a good way to make sure you are swimming to the best of your ability. You don't have to have a kid on the team. You have to sign up with US masters and pay the coach a little fee.
