Well people, I got completely brought down by work this week.  Even as I type this at 8:15 on Sunday I'm still working away trying to get a proposal done for monday.  I did however get in a few small runs this week to try and bump up my time and ran a 10k race this morning.  So i didn't make it, but I hope that you will all let me continue on with the canucks in future challenges ... On a positive note my 10k race was a huge breakthrough.  When I started running a few months ago I set what I thought was going to be a hard goal to achieve of a 52 min 10k.  I knew after a bit of training that I would be able to break it but I did not expect to smash it.  I ran 45:26 today and felt great.  This is the 3rd challenge that I've done and they have been a huge motivator in getting me to my race goals.  Thanks Canucks!

Nice work, team!  I did get another 40 minutes in on my bike tonight, bringing my bike total to 84%.  Never would I have imagined that I would exceed my swim & run goals by so much and not make the bike...That's training, I guess and I learned some things from this challenge...and I must say that if I had to trade more time swimming with some great improvements and not making my bike goal, well, the swim time was worth it!

Spreadsheet updated. Please let me know if any corrections are required. I dropped Languid Scribe from our team as the last time she logged onto BT was back on April 11th.

Excellent jobs folks.
3 out of 11 of us made our goals in all 3 disciplines.
4 out of 11 of us made our goal in at least 2 of the disciplines.
9 out of 11 of us made our goal in at least 1 of the disciplines.

Whether you made your goal or not I hope you were happy with your training for April. Good luck with your training/racing in May!

Steve

Doh! Just as I posted this I notice that Paco posted a note saying that he is done in all 3. I will update the spreadsheet and stats tomorrow.

Congrats on a hard training month everyone!

I did make my 100% in all 3. I finished last night at 9:30pm. How's that for cutting it close?

Well done team.  I sadly have to report that I was not able to finish up my swim or bike goals.  Apparently moving is very time consuming.  I really really wanted to finish this challenge too   Sorry to dissapoint.  Thanks for all the support this month, what a great team!  You guys are amazing.  Keep training hard even though you might not be part of a challenge, and don't be shy, I'm more than happy to help out even if the challenge is over.

No needs for appologies. I'm most concerned that each of you are happy with your training results for April. Now on to May - who's up for more?

I know it's a little late, but thanks CANUCKS for having me on your team (Feb, March, April).

These challenges are great motivators and kept me true to my training!

I just finished a tri this past weekend and beat last year's time. I know that in great part that is due to these challenges.

Now, I'm taking part in a really difficult challenge: rest and recovery.
