sgoehner - 2008-01-14 11:12 AM Hey all, not sure what is on the plan for today.  As my blog mentions, I had a relatively severe allergic reaction to something last night (have no idea what it was), and I am still not feeing all that great.

Dude, hope you're feeling better!

Well, taking another day off.  Still don't feel like I have all my strength back.  I was looking over my release form from the other night and the Dr made a note on it for me to mention to my primary care Dr that when I came in my blood pressure was 74 over 43.  Apparently that is not good, so I have an appt to go in for a physical next week to  make sure everything is alright.  Just sort of feel run down still.  I have a swim on my plan for tomorrow so I am going to try to get that in.

3.1 miles on the tready tonight and the calf felt awesome. Hopefully the bad stuff is behind me and I can move forward with training.Scott,I wouldn't worry about your blood pressure as long as you are not having symptoms such as dizziness or lightheadedness with standing.the low reading may have been from the allergic reaction or meds that were given. However, I'd keep an eye on it and get it checked. Any of the drug stores or walmart ect have machines where you can get it checked.<---old cardiac/ER nurse

Mine is usually 80/50.  So I wouldn't worry too much now - may have just been from the reaction or the initial medication they gave you.

Did elliptical and a quick 2 miles early this a.m.

teaching back got back spin classes this morning and a one hour strength class tonight

tomorrow - hope for 6-8

Fri - not sure yet

Sat or Sun - 8

Haven't run 8 (this was my steady distance all of last spring and summer) for a while- if I want to do trailbreaker I know I just need to suck it in and get on that treadmill for 10 plus soon.

With the injury, I'm thinking Trailbreaker will be downgraded to the Half Mary instead of the full. I don't think I can safely ramp up the milage in time.

Keeping on the swim challenge, so more swim at lunch.  I don't plan the exact stuff - just go and do it as I feel.  Probably have the minimal 1100 yards.

Later tonight is 3rd-grade B-ball practice, so "herding" may need to be added as a new Sport in the blog.

What's the plan for today everyone.  Legs feel good after yesterday so going to hit the pool for whatever the plan calls for today.

I did a 6.5 tread run, 10 min elliptical warm up - then a little weights and back to the gym for teaching senior aqua aerobics (belive me that is not the highlight of my day) and did 40 min elliptical while I was there

I would like to do 8 miler this weekend.

FYI I am now an official DONKAI!!!

Well my day went a little crazy.  Left me debit card at pizza hut in Germantown when I stopped for lunch.  Noticed it when I stopped at Pick n Save in Brookfield and realized I had no money to pay for my cart of groceries, SO drove up to Gtown to get the card and after about a 1.5 hour roundtrip I am home and need to leave again to get to the folks to help my old man.  AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH.  Going to get back on plan one of these days.

Dude, was it one of those days for ya?  I get those almost every morning when trying to get out the door with 3 kids, and it's always the same questions of "<number 1 son>, you got your <insert items of warm clothing?", "<number 2 son>, you have all your school stuff, hat, ....?", "<youngest son>, you got your boots on wrong and the pullovers on backwards, again", and talking to myself "Lemme see, I have work keys, car keys, gym bag, wallet, cell phone, ...., child to take to daycare, his blankie...".  Yep, it's a handful, but I usually have a 1 day out of every other week I'll forget to grab sumptin'.

Just posting that tonight I powered in 2300 yards of swimming, but suffered with cramps on the final 300 yards.

1 x 1100, 2 x 500, and 2 x 100.

To us Wisconsinites - prepare for the bitter, friggin' cold that's here!!!  BRRRRRRRR!!

Yes I was on the treadmill this morning - I really want to do a LSD tomorrow but I just don't want to be on that treadmill that long - ugh.  I told my husband that our new indoor weather system can now read negative digits -  if only it could read windchill too.
