Especially since the stuff would have the BT logo, so it would also promote BT. sesh - 2008-06-20 12:57 PM I wonder if Ron and Marma would put up a BT tri suit or jersey as a prize for some sort of Stage prediction contest. Pick the winner of each stage, Most correct predictions at the end gets the jersey/suit. What about Overall top 5 - who is going to be there and in what order.... Or a Jersey... pick the winner of each Jersey
That's what I was thinking. Plus, it might get a lot of people who don't post to get involved on the site. sounds like a great idea! I bet they would go for it |

A few years ago I wrote that sort of thing for a daily update we were emailing out which included an update on the stage and some 'beginners' info.... it went really well |

Wow, picking the Lanterne Rouge would be a tough one. LOL I like the idea of podium and 4 jersey winners, with the total time (of the winner) as the tie breaker. If you have 140+ people participating, there may be some duplicate answers. So having a tie-breaker could be helpful. |

Countries broadcast in: 170 Countries broadcast live: 51 Roadside spectators in 2007: 12 million Accredited journalists: 1200 Then all the stories like the Tom Simpson tragedy/legend, Lance amstrongs 'look' etc. How the race was started... the rider who (in the unsupported days) broke a fork and had to stop in a town and make his own at an iron worker place (brain blank) but got penalised because the boy who worked there had to operate the belows for him in order to make the repairs. Stories of stops for whisky shots in local pubs before the big mountain stages...
